Still think it's a spin on a ridiculously simple situation, if players have turned us down it's either because they don't see how the club can further there careers, they don't want to move here or we don't pay as much as they can earn elsewhere. I'd be surprised if our interest in a player would make an agent change his tactics anymore then ot would any other club, I'm assuming most clubs are operating at the high end of the cap.

In the cases of Chase and Sammut I think it can be put down to there clubs simply seeing them as there best players, not wanting or needing to sell, would be the same if any club came knocking.

Because he had a criminal record and as soon as it was made known the club didnt persue it , simple really so it wasnt any more than an enquiry until the details were clear!! not even a starter

Yup, he was in a car accident after drink-driving, so I doubt he could've gotten a visa.

That i very much doubt, though i suppose that would depend on what level you regard as being 'cash rich'.

its gone from "untrue" to "i doubt" so why do you doubt that clubs and agents would see us as cash rich when our own figures and the cash we have spent on players recently shows we clearly are a cash rich club??
dont understand please explain because my knowledge of the term cash rich means we have the right amount cash to spend on the right kind of player when needed without too much to worry about or the need to take deals etc to get the signatory into the jersey...??
when the Crusaders said they wanted more for Sammutt than we paid for Westerman doesnt that strike you as sounding like the conversation in the office at Wrexham went like this
"hey guys FC need a half back despo and we got the one they want cos no one else is available !! (MD shouts back) ok they can afford it think of a number and play the game mate"

Yes you are right my mistake on that post.....However some-one who is attached to the club has told me money has nothing to do with us not getting certain targets, it was the length of the contract on offer, they also dismissed your view on agents inflating prices, in fact they totally dismissed you and said you where a mischief maker as your posts imply you have some knowledge to what is happening at our club...they are not worried though as they realised 99% of the posters have figured this out

He's still got around 5 years of his deal left to run!

Seems you don't know the difference between 'cash rich' and 'affordability'.
