Problem is the stewards seem afraid to confront people at the KC.

Says the bloke who doesnt even go to homes matches.I have a drink sometimes before the match but never go in drunk as you claimed some fans do and very rarely drink in the ground anyway so doesnt really bother me.

I do actually go to home games - just not many. And quite what that has to do with having an opinion on potential risk to the club is beyond me to be honest. Unless you're claiming that there's never been any trouble due to drunk idiots?

On a personal level it doesn't bother me either. I don't drink at the KC but on the flip side I've never had any trouble with folk around me drinking when it was allowed. It's the potential risk of trouble for the club that I'm concerned about.

If someone creates a problem then ban them, it will soon stop. Don't pander to them and ban it for all. There will be the odd incident so deal with it.

Here here. Alike other clubs in the SL - They can deal with it, so our club can too.

Which is fine in principle. However, other clubs in SL have direct control over stewarding and/or the drinks outlets. We don't, and the stewards at the KC are notoriously rubbish when it comes to clamping down on bad behaviour.

As I said earlier, had these issues been addressed then no problem with the ban being lifted. Since nothing seems to have changed what makes anyone think that we'll get a different result this time around?

Has the ban been lifted so the SMC can recoup lost revenues from any proposed reduction in FCs stadium rent?

If you dont like getting up and down all game, dont sit in the padded seatsin the West stand

I'm sorry but we pay the SMC enough at the moment, that's there issue. They'll have to invest in some better training.
Its a minority that spoil it, and whilst I don't condone it what so ever I don't feel everyone else should be punished. I am more than happy to be able to have a pint back in the stand.

Like some on here I am in the "no drinking in the seats " camp, but hey ho if it's allowed it's allowed. However what did concern me yesterday was the sight of beer in glass bottles being drunk. How long before some moron lobs one on to the pitch, I know practically everyone who drinks beer in the stand are sensible but it only takes one idiot.

The Magners & Carling bottles were definately plastic, even the staff at the KC aren't that stupid.

Well the biggest rivalry is super league and after months off and not one bit of trouble seems fine to me!!

Drinking should be allowed people leave 10 - 15mins before half time so they can get served anyway so nothing will change.

For example: People actually have to down their drink because the game is about to start or half time is over and they only have had 5mins to drink it, because they have spent all of half time waiting to get served.
Drinking this way increases your chances of getting drunk. Having the pint through he 40min period surely is a lot better then downing it in 30 secs because they game is about to start.

The feeling on this board sometimes really is half empty the minority should not spoil it for the majority so why let them im glad it s back and i don't drink at the game i don't really drink unless im on a night out.
Its about choice and everyone should have it. those who go on about but what about my choice not to get up and down because of people wanting beer and dont want to be soaked by beer i agree also but we should have the stand sectioned into areas you could have of east for drink and chanting and half the east catered for the ones that want to not drink, not eat, not pee and never stand problem solved now everyone stop moaning for gods sake!!

I wasnt arrissed until Sunday then i had a dozy tart about 7 months pregnant by the looks of her DRINKING one afetr another three seats from me who must have gone to the loo about ten times each half it felt like, she was almost crackered when the full time hooter went and she was up the duff too ...
i suggest only those sat on the ends of rows be allowed to drink

Oh I will, advantage of not having a memory problem, you'd be convincing me your (FC's) fans were all devout Christians who wouldn't dream of having a drink too many, invading a pitch, fighting, using obscene language or getting pregnant (and drinking) under the age of 18.

So that's not a Rovers fan on the pitch aswell?? Let's not forget BOTH clubs were fined for this incident (Rovers more so) and it was ultimately caused by poor, understewarding!!

Outnumbered 3/1 if you count the sly dig in the back as another person.

I didn't say we were innocent, people knock our fans whilst having a contingent of exactly the same, let's be honest, it's not East v West at all, there's a mix following both club and a divide through North Hull, people mock an area that has just as many of the opposition fans living in it, we're one city.
