So we have 5 games were both played and we failed to score 10 or more in halfs. 10 games where one of the other played and failed to score 10 or more in a half. Then 5 more when neither played. That for me tells us the problem is more than just the halfbacks. It is probably more down to us being very predictable out on the field.
Lets face it our play is pretty one dimensional, we seemed to have 1 set move all season and after a couple of games teams soon got wise to that. We don't back players up, we have no real kicking game, you can then start to see why we are struggling to score points.

They knew, and knew they would have the dosh to qpproach Myler which they did, who as you know turned us down, twice! That is the thing for me the club have tried very hard to get a h/back but you cannot just pull one out of a bag!

Yep, I've said it for a while that my biggest concern is not how much game time Long and Horne will get together, it's that even when they played they were poor on occasions, especially when it mattered, I'm willing to write last season off and give the team and Agar a fresh start, but unless we make changes on the way we approach games (maybe this is being or has been addressed I don't know) I don't think it's just as simple as get Long and Horne fit and everything will be fine, if anyone can look at those stats and not even be slightly concerned they are an idiot in my opinion.

Whilst the injuries have obviously had an effect, the real issue is the coach. If we had our 1st choice 17 out every week we'd still be nowhere near leeds, wigan and wire

Did you actually see the game, never in a million years did they look miles ahead of us in that game. It is not about excuses but we had 12 men on the pitch and they only just won us, hardly makes them miles ahead does it.

as isaid, they won the game, whilst we didnt...they finished 4th and we finished 6th...3 points ahead of us....they scored 725 points compared to our 569..and conceded 561 compared to our 584......
facts dont lie...we was using the excuses why we didnt finish fourth, radfords sending off, which was a sending off.......simply we wasnt good enough for the season

The fact is even those stats would not place them miles ahead of us

To be fair, our squad is nowhere near Wigan or Wire.

As bbm say's leeds are miles ahead of us,they had plenty of injury problems last season but did'nt bang on about them. Never got of 2nd gear in that game guess you didn't watch the game at leeds or the challenge cup game then. And the fact leeds have won 2 of the last 3 wcc would put them many miles in front of us you need to stop burying your head in the sand and wake up to the reality were not as good as you think. If you are happy to be average and finish 6th and think thats progress thats fine,but I expect more and expect us to challenge on both fronts sadly that won't happen under this regime
