IMO Cusack is an very good prop his technique in attack and defence is always right he does not always bust the line but he does dent it and get quick play the balls he puts in good minutes and is effective.

Don’t know how anyone can question Cusack's effort then bring up Kingy who is renowned as the worst trainer at the club and has not had a really good game since 2006

Cusack is obviously a very professional and dependable forward but some of our fans have this ridiculous idea that he has some sort of greatness.

If he played for any other SL team, we wouldn't even talk about him. He is a total waste of a quota spot and I really cannot understand why some of our fans see otherwise.

Moa is a fans favourite because he tries hard and is entertaining to watch when he runs the ball up. Plus we havent had an aggressive player who gets involved in punch ups since Jason Smith off the top of my head.

He also missed a hell of a lot of crucial tackles and spent half a season getting fit.

What people aren't taking into account is that increasing contracts after offering them has a massive knock on effect, everyone will start turning down their first offer. Plus if Rovers are outbidding us yet again on contracts how stupid do they look. They have been fortunate that the players on big money have performed but in time when people like Galea are on quarter of what Cooke is on and is outperfoming him, riffs will start.

I would be disappointed to see Sam leave . People seem to be knocking that he shows commitment , pride and plays with enthuaism but if more players did that we wouldnt be in situation we are . Also i dont get how its a waste of a quota spot we have o'meley,lauaki(2nd row really) , dowes,cusack and thats it for props and i am certain one will get injured along the way . Who else are we likely to fill our quota spot with another utitily player ? For me unless we are talking about someone who will actually make a difference to our team then last spot should go to Sam

Some people need to take a reality check, I would love to keep Sam, but we have to be realistic, if Rovers or another club come knocking with bags of cash and we cant match it then so be it.

I would rather the club spend money on players like O Meley and Long.

You would think we are losing a player of Tom Briscoe calibre.

I will be disapointted if we dont keep him but it wont be the end of the world, as it looks the club have a made a mistake in keeping Cusack (Who I like, lazy?

I dont think so), but who was to know that Sam would have worked out like he did, he could have been another Hutch.

As for Rovers there signing so far this season have been OK at best. They have one quota spot available and all the talk has been of a big overseas signing and if this is it, then I would be disapointted if I was a Rovers fan.
