I have no problem with it either. It's all about tactics and Leeds have shown everybody else that finishing in the top 2 does not really matter if you are playing well and confident.

Don't worry, the RFL have a habit of penalising us for breaking the "spirit" of the rules whenever they don't like something we do.

I don't blame Wigan at all for resting so many players.

The purpose of a squad is to have some depth to your playing personnel. As far as I'm concerned Wigan are perfectly entitled to name whoever they please. They're not breaking or bending the rules, they're using the staff that they have in the way that they want to.

Like others have said wane is entitled to pick who he pleases. The players he's picked are every bit a part of the first team squad as much as Tomkins/O Loughlin etc are. FWIW I actually think this could be a hindrance to our chances of winning on Friday as the young guns will be fired up and looking to impress. Not to mention the fact that the CC squad will all be worse for wear and we have an ever growing injury list of our own.

If we had been sat 3rd in the table and had just won a CC then absolutely, I wouldn't give a flying one if we rested the entire team!!

Anyway your exagerating, 6 of the Wigan squad played on Saturday and we have a weakened team due to injuries.

Wigan kids will be looking to take their opportunities, with a home crowd behind them I'm expecting a tough game and an FC win is by no means a certainty (but would have been dreading it if most of the Pies cup squad had been playing)

If we can't beat Wigan now then they is no hope for the rest of the season.

Nothing wrong with it IMO, they are all in Wigan first team squad, I'm delighted they have left them out. We have McDonnell, Lineham, Arundel, O'Meley, Heremaia, Lynch, Ellis and possibly Pitts and Crooks, so they have 12 out and we have 7 may be 8.
