I can remember reading something on one of the links posted by one you lot regarding sam moa leaving. it was an aussie forum and they sed why sign sam moa when they already have mose, but someone wrote they think mose was part of the deal with fitz recomendation..

I posted the link to the Roosters fans forum, but another poster mentioned that they reckon with Fitzy been back at the Roosters. That may well of helped Moa get a deal with them.
As I said I don't think Masoe is getting a look in at Sydney at the moment, and their fans aren't happy with the signing of Moa especially as they apparently seem to have tons of impact players and very little grafters, plus short of a 'lock'.

I'm sure Sheldon can shed some more light on it.

Strangly after watching yesterdays final as a some-one not caring who won - What exactly does Bailey bring to the table cos I certainly dont know.

From what I've been told is that Shannon Mc, will definitely become our new fullback for next season! Underwhelmed in all honesty, but when you consider who's available. He'll be arguably the best fullback to move to a SL club. We're not going to get a fullback from the NRL and the only other fullback I can think of available is Webb, who I wouldn't go nowhere near!

Underwhelmed but best full back moving to a sl club, make your mind up bit of a contradiction.

He is currently better than what we have so if he is our new full back I will wish him well and think it a positive signing.
Also correct me if I'm wrong but isn't he a full back from the NRL albeit via our poor neighbours.
As much as we would all like a team of superstars it ain't going to happen.
I am very much looking forward to our signings being announced officially before perhaps being pleased or underwhelmed.

Not a contradiction at all. I'm underwhelmed by his signing as I would like to sign better, but because there is no one else available who's better. He's the best option there is. How is that a contradiction?

Also what has him signing for Rovers from the NRL [ulast season [/u got to do with anything? The NRL salary cap is going up to about $7,000,000 so there is no chance of us signing a top fullback from the NRL hence why we're signing Shannon Mc. Again I don't see what that has got to do with anything?

McDonnell could thrive next season under a decent coach and professional regime.

Mose Masoe would need to work on his fitness, a big hit now and again would give him popularity with some fans but unless he works on his defense around the ruck, offloads, discipline and errors he'll be an expensive project.

What i want to no, is in your opinions regarding gentles signings and turning them into decent performers. how good a coach is he??

Examples, Jay Pitts, No-one had heard of him but he's been a consistant performer with a good future infront of him.
Aspinwall, was bit of a bad boy but gives his all on the field.

Also with the injuries, giving the youngsters a go.. crooks, debut for cunningham vs catalans, lineham, and others

His performances have surprised me though, so has Aspinwall.

Were far too inconsistent atm, we've had some problems but we've had big scores put on us a few too many times and have lost games we should be winning.

If we bring in McDonnell, Crookes, Arundel, Chase, Holdsworth, Taylor, Bateman, Ellis and a Nrl prop (or like for like) we have to finish in the top 4.
