exactly.... the whole reason were miles behind the aussies is simply down to the fact that we already had a young english secongd rower in burnett, yet we opted for luaki who's nrl career was cut short due to his inept performances and his ill-discipline on the field....
we should be nurturing our youngsters not going for second rate NRL ers.....

I can see the potential in him, but we just don't have the coach to bring the best out of him. He's not worth a big wedge of the salary cap though.

We've seen glimpses of what he is capable of with the ball, but only that. My issue with him is in defence. IMO he's fine when players run at him at him, but if they want to go round him they generally do.

doesnt need a coach to make him run his weight, when he first came thought he was gonna be a world beater but has only done it on rare occasions, might well rip sl up at wigan who knows, but from comments have read on here he was the same at his last club, started well then only did it in flashes, shame really as he clearly has all the tools to make a very good sl player

Doesnt matter who we sign while we've got Agar as Head Coach as anybody with any flair or ability will soon have that taken out of them.

We could sign the current Aussie Test team and still have a team that struggles to make the 8 and plays turd rugby whilst Agar is in the job and nothing will change that until he is true to his word and fecks off or is told by the new owner his services are no longer required for a club that wants success.
