The new tax ruling will soon put to bed most of these "he's coming, he's signed" rumours im afraid mate.

My opening comment was down to a lack of names on the end of the last thread so i usually continue it on when we start a new one and there was no one to add.

At least the Sammut rumours have finally been put to bed as we couldn't sign him due to having 5 non-fed players now.

It's not the end of the tunnel. It's a train coming to run everyone over. Or so some would have you believe!

Some interesting theories, I'm not saying it's true for one minute but if we did "load" the salary cap last year someones head should roll, we would have effectively had more then £1.8 worth of player and still performed poorly, and would have put us at a big disadvantage for this season.

Again I'm not saying it's true, I'm not even sure if there are any rules against it, but people have said it's how Warrington can seem to be able to spend more then anyone else, but they get it right on the field and juggle it so that they are competitive each season.

Yep we can sign Sammut.

He would still be non fed trained and we don't have a spot.

I have no inside info but I wouldn't be surprised if we brought in a big name uk player on a long deal.
