Unfortunately Wildie has not had the opportunity at wakey this year. I think he is more a no.9 than a half. Tough lad, lacking in the skill and passing dept but unsure if he has improved this part of his game out on loan.

Definitely not the best young player at wakey. Walshaw, Trout, Cowling, Fletcher are the standout players which will hopefully help to push Wakefield to the next level.

That said he's not a bad signing at all. He's good enough for SL but not better than what we have at wakey already. Think people are more upset at loosing him as he is a local lad brought through the ranks.

Good for you. Do you want a gold star? You must be close to Taylor or Hull FC for that matter as the club are being very secretive this year about transfers. I'm hoping for 10 quality players and some players named on here are great but I'm not counting no chickens. Wait till September before you give yourself a pat on the back.

Kyle Wood looked very good for Wakey against Rovers last week, I'd say he was the pick of the Wakey youngsters if I knew how young he was.

I would have agreed with you last year. This season and through no fault of his own he has not had the chance to kick on at Wakefield. Reality is he has not had the chance to show what he can do with two appearances only.

The young players this year have taken their chance much like Wildie did last year but unfortunately for Wildie there is better in front of him at present in his positions.

I still think he can make a decent SL player but we have better and we can't keep them all.

Not seen a huge amount of McDonnell but reasonably happy and I'll trust Gentle's judgement.

Half backs and prop were the key areas for next season. Full back needed sorting but was always going to be a tricky one. O'Donnell is over here and settled in the area so there'll be no repeat of McKinnon's bailing out.

I've been banging on about Masoe alot lately, and I don't think he's getting a look in at the Roosters at the minute. Would be a good signing for us and certainly likes to dish the big hits out. One of the top big hitters in the NRL at the moment. I'd certainly welcome his signing.

He's definitely the sort of player that we need to be signing to replace Moa. We've got the forwards who've got big engines to do the big minutes in Lynch, Pitts and probably Amor. Watts and again Lynch with good hands and who can offload really well. We're just missing a nasty bar stud, and this is were the likes of Masoe would fit in.
