Really? Probably the position we need least, I hope the HDM are wrong, otherwise a baffling decision and again makes you wonder if we have the right man in charge.

Depends who is being shipped out and who is retiring I suppose not a major priority though, I expect it will be a prop who is high profile to a degree myself.

Even if Carvell goes, our front line props will be

With Green and BTW as back up and also Thompson.

These set of props are as good as any other props in SL IMO.

Priorities should be a SH, and winger. the first two should be high profile players.

Add Walsh and Moon in our team for example and you would see a world of difference.

Completely agree. He's good at kick returns but his positional play and pace make him a distinctly average winger IMO. Wonder if radford is intending to drop him for his balls up when he made his break on sunday

Taylor is definatly moving back to hull after this season , that came from his dad . Didn't say who he was signing for though .

As for Taylor I mentioned on here a few weeks back about him returning to Hull to come play for us. Which had come from his father during the derby at KR.

I don't know the kid or his Family so I'm just going by what people were telling me on Sunday and that is Hull want him but he's got a couple of other clubs chasing him Leeds being one of them.

I thought he'd signed a 3yr deal at Wigan which would make me wonder if they're releasing him for free then the last thing I'd want is to give him to one of our main competitors, I'm tlking about Leeds obviously.

Think we had the best year out of Manu and re-signing would be a mistake IMO.

If Taylor comes I would expect Carvell and one other prop to go, to try and balance the squad out better.

If we want consistency we need to get rid of the inconsistent players rather than giving them another chance and hoping they come good. By all means give them that chance whilst they are still contracted with us but don't reward them with another contract to give them more time.

By Radfords own admission, youngsters will always deliver inconsistency, however if its a player who is 26+

I'm unsure about signing high profile forwards,who would appear to take large chunks of the cap.
when our more immediate priority, is to secure a HB.

I understand we are signing Scott Taylor, presumably to replace Carvell.

I also heard the Manu rumour but didn't give it much credence and then it pops up again on here. It would be a backward step IMO. I didn't want him to leave but having left I dont want him to come back 2 years older.

My thoughts too. Great player when we had him but I can't see him being as good two years later.
