Johnson is signed. Anyone with an ounce of RL knowledge will know Amor has been in fantastic form for Wakey this year, i'd say as equeally impressive as Taylor has been for Rovers.

Mason is finished, doesnt always get picked for Hudds. Amor has been better than both this year. That will remain the same if we sign him or not.

Many would do well to learn the lessons of Watts, McGoldrick, Martin,Aspinwall who all came here being slated by all unsundrie till PG got them under his wing and all massively improved their own game and our performances
Aspinwall especially typifies the fact that in AP,PG and bomber we have a group of fellas who are the danglies as a group of professionals so lets leave it to them to say who does and who does not fit in because so far they are leading the game

Watts, Martin and Aspinwall did NOT massively improve under Gentle. That's absolute nonsense. McGoldrick looks better playing in a better team - which any halfback or fullback does. The issues people had with signing any of these players are still valid.

Does Amor have some sort of exclusivity clause that means he has to be the only prop a team can sign?

People need to remember that amor is a player the club are looking to sign on top of the players already signed.

Gentle could see him as a squad player not a starting 17 player. I don't think anyone can argue that he wouldn't be a useful squad player next season!!

I think that all you hull fans who believe Amor would be a bad signing, should count your lucky stars (if you do sign him), massively underrated player!

I'd be disappointed if our 4 first choice props next season were lynch, watts, amour and johnson as I don't think there would be enough impact in there for me but gentle wanted paea so presumably he feels there is some need for size and impact in there.

Whatever happens with recruitment, the club are moving in the right direction. Maybe pearson should keep his cards closer to his chest on occassion but I'd rather know too much than too little. Also, reading the article on the club website, it looks as though the 7 signed included ellis, arundell, watts and pitts, not those plus 7 more as some were claiming.

Doesn't look likely that taylor is coming though as I doubt we'll sign taylor, amour and johnson

You bear me to it on Aspinwall and Martin. Their paying style hasn't changed yet some seem to think it Gentle that improved them.

More like the preconceived poor reputation some fans gave to these players in the first place was misguided.

I had my doubts about McGoldrick but it appears his playing ability is not (or ever has been) a problem, it was the perception that he was a cheap shot penalty machine. Something which he has not been in his time at Hull.

So you'll believe what that poster has to say on that site, because it suits what you think about the Amor signing. But when anyone posts a rumour on this forum there all talk in your own words 'bol lux'.
