James Smailes on his twitter said this last week about the player from the manly game when asked about who it was. He basically said the player has had a change of heart and decided to stay in oz.

I wouldn't listen to James Swailes I think he gathers most of his information from his twitter account trying to get in with Washy and Dowes and from these messageboards.

I can't see us bringing in any star names but a couple of solid signings could be just what we need.

The Pitts rumour makes more sense over the weekend makes more sense taking into account the new assistant rumour. He could be an additional 3rd signing rather than one of the original two.

I am confident we will sign two maybe three players but don't think they will be star names. Just a guess but if we were in for someone like Lyon then there is always a chance the deal will fall through.

Reports in oz is that he needs a rest as his body is busted up and wants to be close with his children so cannot see him coming around the globe to come here unless he brings the full family.

If the Radford rumours are true I could see the merit in bringing in another player but I'd want better than Pitts as I think Green, Cunningham and Pearce could be at his standard when subject to sl for a few games.
