I think we're in for a high scoring game, out defence wasn't really tested against wire, I'm starting to think you'll score more than I thought earlier

There are a fair few travelling over for this, how many are we allowed in our allocated stand? As might have to get tickets to make sure we get in.

First 20mins will be massive for Hull. As like most games it'll be won in the pack but Saints 3/4s as good as they are in attack are suspect in D.

East stand holds well over 3000, so shouldn't need to buy tickets beforehand unless your'e bringing an absolute army, in which case it will be a sellout!!!

Going to be an interesting one, and with them being heavily tipped for success this year, looking good in Round 1 and at home, I'd imagine they'll be very strong favourites. I really hope they do well this season, hopefully that well on Friday though. The forward battle will be a good benchmark as Saints pack looks top drawer.

Got tickets from FC yesterday just to be safe.

Has paying at the turnstiles improved yet? We must have brought over 2,000 for 1st game at Langtree and it was an absolute joke, queued for half an hour and missed first 5 mins of game. Bought ticket last season and got in ground early which will do again tomorrow.

I hope it doesn't come down to goalkicking or I fear the worst ,remember holdsworth missing a relative easy kick to win game last season,we will have to score under the posts lol

Hope it ends like in 2012 with the Hull fans belting out "oh when the Saints, get beat by Hull..."

I think we could get a doing tonight but am naturally hoping its not the case.

I expect saints to be in the mix this year. I thought they would be seriously improved due to their recruitment which I think has been the best in super league but that it would take a while longer for them to gel then round 1. Despite Wire not being near their best last week it doesn't remove the fact that Saints were still excellent in all aspects and we were a mixed bag in comparison.

Hopefully none of that matters, our big players perform and we put in a performance because we are good enough on paper to compete with any side in a one-off match but I aren't even a bit confident.

Hopefully I look foolish come the end of the game tonight though!

The nearer we get to this one the more I'm starting to think we could get a result. It's probably more blind faith than anything else, but looking at the two squads it's a fairly even contest really. If we don't give away the daft penalties like last week and tighten up that right edge I can see us scraping it by a couple of points.

If I had to stake my life on one team it would still be Saints, but I'm optimistic.

I think if we keep the penalty count down then we'll stand a chance. But the team needs to be on top form tonight and give 100% because Saints were fantastic last week.

Heart says Hull. Head says Saints.
