I have always thought he was a 'half' decent coach but always wondered why he 90% shunned 'in form' Hull FC players for his GB side, then when he did pick one (seemingly under duress)......He played Richard Horne on the wing with a totally 'out of sorts' Keith Senior making him look bad.

didn't pass horney a ball if i remember too and when he did it was hospital pass

also remember noble throwing horne into the deep end against australia in brisbane 2006, having not played a game for 5 weeks, and also dropping yeaman who was one of gbs' better players against new zealand in wellington for martin 'lead boots' gleeson who had done nothing the whole series

Good move for both parties IMO, if it happens. He's got no chance of developing his game under Agar and will always recieve more then his fair share of critisism whilst he's here.

it was interesting though to hear James Smales tonight on Sportstalk. He was waxing lyrical about the quality and speed of some of our young players last night, then he went onto the 'Cull' and he said when asked that he felt including Jordan he expected 3 or even 4 new players to still be coming in. I thought myself with the cap that we would get Moa or a high profile Aussie, Jordan and that would be it! Interesting times and James Smailes rarely comment without a bit of back up information!

Perhaps there will be some movement after 1st!

Incidentally the players the Daily Mail quote tonight as going are exactly the same as those I predicted in the Diary 3 weeks ago and I really do think that they are all for the chop!
