Plenty of battles across the pict, Long and Orford should be a great battle if Long is fit, Berrigan is class above L'estrange IMO.

I agree about berrigan been on a different level to l'estrange but l'estrange and orford have played together for some time (when l'estrange could get on the field) and will have a better understanding.

Now that would be a supporters group to be proud of! Lol

I thought L'Estrange was miles quicker out of acting half last week than Berro has been of late. Would like to see Berro playing at a faster tempo in everything he does as it dictates the nature of our play.

In fairness to Berro we have some shockingly slow ptb's either due to our poor technique and poor refs.

Good point it's just at times body language speaks volumes. Not knocking the guy as such just saying we need him firing and sharp out of dummy half.

Agree. When Berro plays well we generally play well. We need our forwards fired up though to win the collision and the wrestle first.

I think it is the refs and SL as a whole. If you saw the Widnes/Fax game last night you will have noticed a massive difference in ptb speed.

heard from a couple of different people horney is struggling for tonight with a couple of bust ribs, dont know how true it is tho

If he's genuinly got bust ribs he would never have been listed in the 19 man squad.

Maybe it's why Turner is in the squad and not Hall to cover 6?

Seriously why would someone with busted anything be listed in the squad, if he's not available to play then give the spot to someone who is fit and available.

Could be. Think Turner offers greater versitility then Hall from the bench anyway.

Ahem.....mind games. Longy in the squad for Crusaders for instance? Apparently it can make the diffference between winning and losing games.

At the end of the day Horney is a form player at the minute and we probably want to give him every chance to play.

I'd play Hall centre and Whiting at 6.

Depends on the level on the knock some heal quicker then others. Maybe when the squads were announced Horney felt he had a chance of playing. It would be more foolish not to name a player who by match day feels able to play.
