Indeed, but out of the 3 he is arguably the best centre on 2009 form.

Yeaman is a [iformer[/i international centre, and Briscoe is an international winger.

Hopefully with a decent half back Yeamo can reclaim that form again, I reckon in a few years Briscoe will have shaken off the Winger tag.

I don't like all the tit for tat comparisons with Fox but regardless of whether Briscoe gets called up or not for the four nations I would not play Fox on the wing. Would be a weak link that the Aussies/Kiwi's would expose imo.

I thought Briscoe showed up well last night, took his second try really well and did what was asked of him. Fox still looks a bit shot confidence wise, can be a great player and his work rate is very good, just needs to shake off his end of season dip.

Personally I wouldn't play either of them in the 4 nations, as been said fox's form of late doesn't deserve it and personally think it would do Briscoe more harm than good being part of an england side that will get slaughtered by the aussies. I agree the aussies blood tehm young, but they put them into a world class team and that makes all the difference.

Give Briscoe a full season (injury free) with you and then I think he'll be fully ready both mentally and physically forwhatever the aussies may throw at us.

Think you've got a real gem there, normally take it with a pinch of salt when fans rave about a player (Moa, Hall etc) but think you have the right to with this lad, put it this way if i could pick one player outof your team for us to sign, including all your new signings and Berrigan, Briscoe would be top of the list...

While it's been amusing for me to watch the bigged up Fox fall down now, I agree that he's out of form at the moment and agree that I wouldn't play him against the Aussies. What you don't want is a good player coming back next season with his confidence in pieces.

The question is from a Hull FC point of view can you pick a 17 man squad and NOT include Tom? Its one thing saying he is young and developing but the kid is too good to leave out IMO.

1? Did you not watch your end of season games? He's bombed more tries in the last 2 months than i care to remember. He's looked very average and i was surprised when he was even called into the squad. The supprise seemed justified on Saturday too.

Fox should be nowhere near the England team currently.
