Unfortunately there's not much room for sentiment in sport. As Mrs B says he doesn't appear to show any leadership qualities so what position could they offer him.

The success of McCrone's switch from the halves to hooker, and whether he sees his long-term future there, is likely to be s big factor in his decision. McCrone played 105 games for Canberra in the halves before switching to a bench hooker role this year under Stuart.

"It's very preliminary talks at the moment," said McCrone's manager Steve Gillis. "I've had a few chats with Ricky but I certainly haven't started any negotiations of any kind.

"He likes it there and the club's been good to him, I think there'd be a reasonable chance he'd stay.

I wish had have signed Leon Pryce, he'd have given us some leadership and organisation which we're currently lacking.

So clearly it's not try if he's only found out about it himself!!

True..& if we keep players because they have been good club men/legends at our club..then we will never kick on..hes coaching at scholarship level & should concentrate on that & playing for donny..there at a decent level..best to go out & be remembered a good player then try & milk another year...radders sees him as decent pivotal/back cover but we dont have any decent in front of him so i can see why hes still around..we will see..exciting times ahead! #COYH.
