Sharp hasn't been given a fair crack, nor has Lynne, Fox worked his way in, and out, of the England squad.

I don't want to sign rovers rejects, it's as simple as that.

Agrea on Sharp just playing devils advocate if his face dosent finally fit. Lynne I just dont see "making it" to be honest at the highest level but lets hope so. Rovers reject yes, hear what you are saying but I dont think many KR fans or FC fans think he is actually bad enough to be released by KR - go to me more to it. Even as backup as I say I would take a young English player.

fox is better than both sharp and lynne..simple as that....

TBH Fox is probably slightly better than we have in Sharp & Lyne (at present) but is he really what we should be looking at? If we are to improve as a team on the field we need to bring in a winger that is much better than we have currently not just slightly plus are we really that desperate at the moment? For me Lyne is a good prospect but not ready yet and needs time on loan and regular games at NL level. Both Sharp and Lyne have been given bit part roles through the season, Sharp started off well but then lost confidence and the coaching staff never seemed to handle that seemingly prefering to drop him.
With a new coach Sharp could well prove a decent winger for us.

So who would you suggest is English AND available?

fox is rubbish. He's 26 and had one half decent season. He's pretty quick but he can't tackle, can't catch, is thick as pig excrement and his positional sense makes will sharp look like a master tactician.

rovers were playing back row forwards on the wing in preference to fox for a reason

We have far more important area to improve the team on than a new winger

Clint Newton wouldn't be released with a year left on his contract, therefore, wouldn't be a KR reject so much as an FC acquisition.

It all depends on who is to be our Coach next season, I think that Sharp for all the problems he's had so far, can if coached be a decent winger for us. He started off well but lost confidence and has then been dropped. Look at Colin Best when he first came to us he was a bit like Sharp in way but McRae handled him in the right way, gave him confidence and he was one of the best wingers we've had for years, plus the team played using its wingers then

There is very little home grown talent available which is a sad state for the game here and the reason why we fail year on year at International Level.

I would like to see a quality coach come in and see them improve the players we already have first.

No, I'd suggest we get a coach to work with and improve the wingers we already have contracted for next season

Because he is better than Reece Lynne and, in the minds of people who say he is rubbish, better than Sharp too? For me if we could afford it I would have Briscoe and Sharp starting but Fox as backup if it would mean we wouldnt end up playing a centre or utility player for half the season on the wing.

I'd take a punt on him if the price was right. I believe he's had a few personal issues earlier this year which if true could have been a factor in his drop in form.

Oh good. Our recent history of signing outside backs with personal issues is quite without incident.

unless someone matches his wages,which looks unlikely taken his dip in form after international recognition and the contract upgrades that will have come with it, i can see him sitting on his contract for it's duration,much the same as Morgan will.

From what I was told they weren't of his own making and the sooner he gets away from rovers the better as he's been let down badly.
