| The players that stood out for me tonight was ogre, fitzy and brisco the rest were below average, don't think that manu is a centre, long was long and isnt intersted imo, they just didn't have any direction.

| 1st half very quiet,2nd half with Sean Long missing i thought Westerman got a little bit more involved.I think he will do alright given the chance.

| When he moved to 6 and Turner went to he looked good.
Hopefully Agar has the bottle to play him at 6 and Obst 7 against Hudds with Turner in the .

Sharp was very good also. He always looked a threat and did nothing wrong!!

| Play Westerman at 13 as the pivot....our attack slowed down whenever Fitz got the ball....he is a 2nd row/prop now.

| Westerman will be ruined by playing for Hull. Your dull one up rugby will stifle his creativity. Using him to tackle and trundle at the line is pointless. You may as well have used Mike Burnett.

Sharp had the occasional good run but his defence is nothing to shout about is it, ogre looked exhausted.

| When he was at 6 he looked alot better and is the type of player who needs the ball in his hands with some space.
Its clear that he has no clue who to play 2nd row as his timing is way and angles are way off, which again is no fault of his own its down to our clueless coaches, i say coaches because Webster is the guy who bangs on about him been a second rower not Agar.

| Apart from those obvious bad misses I thought his general tackling has been quite good overall and he just looks lost a bit trying to fit into a new side in an unfamiliar position the same as Sharp who must be wondering wtf he has let himself in for having to come inside that much just to get his hands on the ball,
Play Fitz where hes more effective in the second row where he can show his attacking skills and stop the old feller burning himself out with all that tackling and let Westerman play 13 where he will be more comfortable.

Indeed. It could scarcely be any more obvious, or so you'd think.

| Wish Leeds had signed him a while back. The kid has huge potential. Agree with playing him at 13 and moving the big bald fella upfront. Could be your best creative 13 since Steve Norton if he gets a chance to show his skill.

and there is our problem. That doesnt fit with our coaches style of play. My question was read out at a fans forum about playing Whiting or Washy at 13 instead of a prop like Radford at the time. Agar made it plain that he liked his 3 props down the middle channel. He's far too risk averse.

| I work with a fair few Cas fans, who all say that he has gone down hill in the past 2 seasons. On the whole they were more than happy he went as they think they have better replacements. They talk of his personal problems as well. He wont be the first or last to live up to the hype.
He will be under a bit of pressure, he hasn't really shown in the 2 televised games so far, just give him a few games to settle down first. He hasn't played well for Cas, either a change of club will do him good or he will be yet another player whose promise never materialised.

| Remember when we signed him and we all thought it meant it was gonna mean a change in the style of our play? Oh how wrong we where. Now weve got a poor young kid whos one the best up and coming creative loose forwards in super league and our coach is ruining him and probably killing his confidence by playing him in the second row. You just couldnt make it up. Agar you are an embarassment to this club.

| joe westerman hasnt played any different in your first two games than he did for the last two years at cas.joe had huge potential has a kid but to say he let it go to his head is an understatment, joe has massive off field issues which over the past 3-4 years has really hampered is progress,he has a really poor attitude to training and was a constant whinger and was unliked by many of the players.
i doubt agar is the man to turn his head and get him playing anything like what he should be but with a proper far tougher coach you may get something out of him but imo he will continue to be happy to take his money and lifestyle and limp through his rugby career.

People keep saying this but apart from his and Chase's discliplinary last season what has he actually done?

| Where's this creative 13 coming from?,maybe i've been living in a time warp and he's actaully been playing that role at Cas and I've dreamed that Matterson used him as out side running second rower?
He's done nothing over the last two years to warrant a place as a creative 13,in fact I wouldn't even have in the 13.

| 13 for me, needs hands on the ball. He has the skill to be hitting the wide runners, 2nd row, centre, wing and is big enough and mobile enough to punch holes in opposition defenive line wide out. Whilst agars head coach though he'll just be another battering ram.

Correct. And he played his best games out wide - like a second centre. Once he was used as a bulldozer up the middle, he never looked the same.

| To be fair to the lad, he really hasn't looked the same player since Gilmour gave him a tap round the head the other year. Playing him in the middle wont get you anywhere either, if anything the lad at this point in his career he is a centre, that's essentially where he played during his best games at Cas.

| fwiw i think the lad did ok in parts last night, did some good tackling and when he did drift to the outside looked to put some decent balls out, yes he still looks as though hes finding his feet with his new team mates, but he is a num 13 and really should be played there, i believe given a chance he will become a very good player,
