Oh for gods sake some people really spout bollox. Lack of ambition? So trying to sing the likes of LMS, Fielden and Westerman is a lack of ambition is it. You can't always get what you want.

I always saw this offseason as a consolidation period and expect a much bigger off season next year. For a start we have no overseas spots and have no big earners leaving. Two or three shrew signings this year along with a couple of big ones for next year aswell as young players maturing and I will be happy.

I've barely missed a home game since I started going around 2002, season ticket holder until this year, so that includes all of Radford's time here. His offloads find the ground almost as often as one of our players, and often cost us yards rather than gain them. It's far from an area I'd pick out as a strength of his.



A similar amount to Radford, it's a weakness in both their games, as is losing the ball in the tackle.



I just disagree, there's no 'totally different level'. There's barely anything at all in it from a playing perspective. And the coaching attributes are irrelevant on this matter too.



I don't see the relevance of the medals issue on their current merits if I'm honest. And I've not come anywhere near saying he's shiiite. If you bother to have a look you'll see I'm pleased with him staying.

On the other point, I haven't rated the quality of rugby FC play for a number of years, no, but our effectiveness is much better this year. I don't think anyone can agree we've been a good side in the previous 2 seasons though.

Not that old chestnut! He's not been used at 13 by a succession of coaches because he's either been injured himself or covering another injury elsewhere. He'd make a great 13. If we ever see him given a go there, I'll look forward to the written apology and conciliatory toffee crisp you'll no doubt extend in my direction.

Last years recruitment was a step in the right direction to correct the situation..
Maybe have a little faith until those in charge say that's us finished for this year..

Fielden - decides to stay where he is currently which happens to be top of the league.

LMS - decides to move to one of the best clubs around who challenge year on year and play fabulous rugby.

They have both made choices, a lack of ambition would have been not to try.

Unusually this year there is little movement and what movement there is attracts interest from everyone including their own clubs as you say hence the "big guns " IE SF LMS etc are making their choices as shown recently, however SF is still not in the bag anywhere as we are still talking to him but he will make his shout shortly as to where his future lies however if Wigan offered him a lump of a contract with the guys coming in next term who would not want to stay at wigan ??
As for LMS we made him a massive offer and he wanted to be involved in the club as it starts its life at the new stadia and to be part of the rebuilding of the club again, also his personal terms he recieved are handsome to say the least along with a relocation to die for ...
