10 mins in I wasn't best pleased but what an impressive turnaround in the the next 30.
Then 2nd half was just an example of great defence and the ability to close out a game.
Really pleasing result and performance to boot.
Hard to pick a mom for as 1-17 all played well.
On the flip side how poor are Leeds?

Great performance aside from a shaky start.

Some sublime attacking rugby in the first half, we were sensational. The second half was always going to be a bit of a comedown and the defensive effort was excellent.

Hard to pick out any individual after an all round team display but I thought Sika Manu was very good tonight.

I agree Manu was excellent tonight. Great performances from everyone but Taylors introduction stemmed the tide and turned the game. Special mention for Naulago for someone who has hardly played the game he looked very assured.

Thought Matongo was excellent. Drives into the tackle now, whereas last year was running too upright, and 2 try saving tackles in that 2nd half

in 2 or 3 years Masi is going to be one of the best props in the game if he carries on developing and learning. Future international

Didn't see that coming, a tremendous result after a slow start.

I though an Aussie coach and marquee signings would have had us well beaten.

Their half backs are garbage and their wide defence isn't much better.

Great 25 minutes or so from us but we lost our way without westerman on the pitch so I hope he isn't injured. We look a very different side with him on the park

Westerman had a groin strain, hopefully nothing too serious.

Tonight was the best game I have seen him have. Some of the hits he put in when we were defending our line in the second half were brutal.

Who cares what they do or do not, did you really go to this match, without Westy we didn’t click in the rain, but we defended like champions, sensational Massi, one who has benifitted from last season, an inspirational performance a lot of the time without Westy Tag and Ellis.

Is the Leeds bogy reputation earned from the Super League era or the historical playing record? What is our overall historical win / lose record playing Leeds? I know that in all major competitions Grand Finals, Challenge Cup Finals and including Yorkshire Cup finals, total score is Leeds 2 Hull 1. We have never played Leeds in 2 of these competitions -the first and last.

It is possible to view a list all of Wigan's matches played since they first started in rugby league. Does a similar list exist for Hull FC?

Agreed. He was excellent and rightly got big raps from Radders.
Kelly's ball to Ratu was a thing of beauty.
Mini and Sika's breaks and killer passes to Sneydy and Shaully respectively were sublime.
Masi blasting through that hole wont do anything but build his confidence.

Seemed to be a real desire to play expansive rugby. The wingers actually got passes in open play.
Leeds didn’t know what was coming with Sneyd, Westy, Kelly and Shaul on the ball.
Kelly was sublime. The pass for Ratu’s try was worth the entry money alone, and his try shows what a running threat he is.

Also, who was it that pummelled Hurrell in a tackle?
