whats all this about.
complaining about or sarcastically mentioning the club appealing to fans to sing OUR song as the teams come out.
the club shouldnt even need to appeal for us to do this.it should be sung by every hull fan attending whos capable of singing to lift the boys before kick off.

Sorry if this has been posted but it seems like they are trying to adapt a similar approach to what other clubs do. For example Liverpool F.C. sing You'll Never Walk Alone as the team comes out and 90th minute of a game whether win, lose or draw.

Went down like a spectacular lead balloon. Lets hope the idea is dropped and they turn the Mic/speakers off 10 minutes before every game in future.

That was a spectacularly poor comment from the guy on the Mic tonight.

The thing that needs to be recognised is that you can't manufacture atmosphere - it's created by the fans themselves in response to full-blooded commitment and entertaining, and more importantly, winning, performances. The confidence and enjoyment of the fans has ebbed away in line with our conviction on the pitch over the last 3 years and being ordered about by someone who doesn't even know Washy's name is entirely counter productive.

1 of a few, as for the old faithfull well that was absoulote awfull and embarasing. i agree that it should be used to welcome the players on the field but let the fans sing the song not the stupid new version that kills it and the guy on the mic shut the fook up ffs

TBH the players have to take some responsibility after this loss. Surely the likes of fitzy, long, horne and westy have the potential to change a game if the coaches game plan if not working after all they all paid professional athletes. If you do not go on the pitch not to give it all what hope do we have regardless of the coach. After the o'meley incident it is not like they don't want to play under him.
