Awful signing if true, I just don't see the logic in signing him especially if it's a contract which is going to be longer than just the rest of this season. If it is for more than just this season, there is a few players at Bradford which would of been better signings. Sammut, Gale or Kearney would of been better options. I just can't see myself clapping for him when his name is announced during the warm up!

It could be a master stroke and could well be (and more then likely) a disaster. However people need to realize in order for big signings some less more glittering names need to be signed and retained too. I mean its impossible to have 17 Gareth Elli's on the field every week. Not the jaw dropping name we wanted but sometimes players can come stale at clubs and a move is good for them, I hope this is the case here.

Personally I see him slotting into full back straight away with Horne in the halfs to the end of the season. Then next season he will play second fiddle. One of our unsung heroes IMO this season who has gone quite about his work is Aspinwall, so it just shows that not always the big name is needed.

I remember when people said we needed more ambition when signed Shayne McMenemy from bottom club Halifax, he turned out to be one of the best second rowers this club has had in the SL era.

Obviously disappointed but as AP said on the radio the other day there is a gap to be plugged in our youth system and we need to sign players like this till our youth set up gets back up to scratch.

Just wish some people would stop going over the top though, not clapping him or going to stop attending games. Get a grip.

As for Chase, The rumour is that things were escalated and he will remain a Cas player. There is an announcement tomorrow. So we hear.

No offence, but Chase is too good a player to be playing at Cas.

I'll give him a chance , might go ok if he keeps his head down . Hopefully with him been a smaller l fish in a bigger pond might work in our favour .

But by the same respect what makes you think we are big enough for him to sign for ? Considering we have being equally as poor the last few seasons. If Chase is to become available, Wigan and Wire are ahead on us on that front.

One player / signing doesn't make a team....follow the team not one perceived bad signing (if true)!!

As with most Hull fans, when he has a bad game it will get made more of then if he was to have a good game. After supporting Hull for over 20 years I have realized sometimes if your face don't fit then you can be doomed before you even get going.

I feel sorry for McGoldrick on his first game, he is one of them signings where one mistake will kill him. If he drops a bomb or misses a tackle, they will be world war 3. If he has a good game nothing will be said, that's Hull for ya though.
