That and (though he's a good player on his day) he just hasn't really produced it often enough. Not surprising he's being playing out of his skin the last few weeks (Morgan said it's a chance for Fitz to get in shop window). He's a versatile player though so would be surprised if he doesn't get taken on by an SL/NRL club.

iysten harris and robbie paul on super league show yesterday said when a club announces several signings mid way through the season like hull have, could possibly affect the performance / confidence of the current bunch of players. never really looked at it that way.

Possibly, but last off-season we were expecting Crocker who never came, we were'nt able to replace Carvell properly and we've been crying out for a top scrum-half for years.. the players could hardly be surprised about it.

Besides, it's Agar's job to make sure that the players are spurred on by the thought of new players coming in, not lose all motivation.

Thats what amatures do, professionals just get on with it or try and win themselves a place for next year.

In all seriousness whilst I would (obviously) welcome him to Rovers I think it'd be a mistake for Hull to let him go, esp with the new rules on homegrown players etc coming in next season.

Completely agree, I've always said he's got the kind of attacking flair you can't teach and although his defence is a problem it is something that can be coached and he is improving. I was only half joking about Agar unfortunately, we know he's not Hall's number one fan and judging by the rumours about Calderwood being offered to other clubs god knows what will happen.
