I struggled to get three together in most blocks last night and have just got them in the two new blocks.

It looks like 16,000 or so have been sold for that now and I'd expect it to be pushing towards capacity by game day.

positive news, I think the Huddersfield sell-out has woken people up and made them realise that you will struggle to pay on the day for games like this.

Think Donny deserved one of the games Craven Park got, and I say that even though Hull is my hometown. Sheffield are Championship champions, and South Yorkshire should have had one game IMO.

Workington has 2 Scotland games, but IIRC one was meant to be at Whitehaven, but they didn't get the funds to improve their ground so it was moved.

Craven Park & the City of Hull (not Hull KR) got two games. The idea was that PNG playing twice in Hull would see the city 'adopting' PNG as their team, running in conjunction with ticket offers for both games etc.

Workington host Scotland twice & Leeds (are likely to) host New Zealand twice.

It would have been nice if South Yorks had hosted a game, but it depends on the strength of their bid (if they had one) versus the others. From the articles I've read, both the Cook Islands & NZ have had a positive effect on the communities they've visted there, which is better than nothing.

While I can see the logic...Donny is less than an hour away and some fans from Hull would have gone there anyway, but you'd have attracted 'new' fans from Donny & Sheffield and given the game a boost there, and its also close to Wakefield & Cas and Leeds & Bradford. But still what's done is done, and i'm sure Craven Park will get a good gate, and as much as it pains me to say it, it can be a good atmosphere there.

Half of the Upper West (towards the South stand) is now open for sale. I take that the mean that sales have at least passed 15K or they wouldn't have bothered opening it.
