| Quote ="Il Fanatico"I can't believe what I'm reading here. Hull has more group games than any other city in the UK including one of only 3 guaranteed home nations matches and because you want 'big' games on your doorstep you are NOT going to attend!?
Tell me, if we expect more than 25,000 at England vs Australia and the 2 Semi-Finals, then why on earth would the KC Stadium come into the reckoning for these matches? Should we just have a Hull world cup in 2021 so you can feel special and looked after (not that with 3 games including England you haven't already been)?
The France-PNG game will have more too it than the vast majority of Super League games this year. Something very meaningful to play for including players you only have the opportunity to see once and you're going to sit at home, arms folded sulking in a bid to make the RFL give you big games (which as we've established are too big for the KC's capacity). Grow up, get behind your sport and get to some games. The only way to make a statement about getting big games in the future is by selling out the games you have got, which are crackers in my eyes compared to everyone else.
We have one chance this year to show people that we still care about RL in this country but if we all have your attitude I suggest we pack it in all together.'"

Top post.
Unfortunately they are supporters in Hull that think Hull is the be end of all when it comes to support. Maybe they should look at how many we took to Wembley and the CC semi final to realise alot of the RL support in Hull is full of armchair fans.
When I first started this topic I thought more would be interested in the world cup, pains me to see so called RL fans trying some sort of childish protest. Its like they want the game to fail.
Afterall I'm a rugby league fan first and Hull FC fan second. Must just be me and a select few others who feel like this in this part of the world.
If only the RFL knew this would be the case before they was kind enough to give us 3 games.

| Got tickets for both PNG games at Craven Park, and also got my final tickets more than 6 months ago. I've yet to decide on the England - Fiji game as I'm not sure how competitive it will be.

Quote Rugby League World Cup 2013 (RLWC2013) is coming and you have an opportunity to buy tickets to one of the biggest sporting events in the UK this year, and to make a huge difference to children in Papua New Guinea (PNG) as the Rugby Football League works in conjunction with the Stanley Gene Foundation to help change lives.
On Sunday 27 October, Hull will host its very first RLWC2013 game as PNG take on France at the home of Hull Kingston Rovers – MS3 Craven Park, kick off at 4.00pm.
The same venue also stages the game between PNG and Samoa on Monday 4 November, kick off at 8.00pm.
Hull is a hotbed of rugby league, with some very strong links to PNG. None more so than being the adopted city of former PNG rugby league star and ex-Hull Kingston Rovers & Hull FC player Stanley Gene.
Stanley recognises the invaluable contribution rugby league and Hull has made to his life in the UK, so much so that he’s set up his own foundation to help people back home in his native PNG.
The Stanley Gene Foundation is committed to reaching the unreachable communities of PNG and educating young Papua New Guineans in order to give them the tools to make a better future for themselves.
RLWC2013 has witnessed the work of the Stanley Gene Foundation and the results they’re achieving and they have very kindly created Hull’s own special promotional code for both of the games at MS3 Craven Park.
The code is SGF.
For each ticket purchased for the games at MS3 Craven Park using code SGF, RLWC2013 will donate £5.00 to the foundation.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.rlwc2013.com/ or by calling the ticket hotline 0844 847 2013 – but remember to use or quote the code SGF.
Thank you for your support.
Kind regards
The Stanley Gene Foundation'"

| Its looking like the game at Huddersfield.could sell out and could be around 60000 for the opening ceremony. Lets not let our sport down and do our upmost to pack the KC to the rafters!

| I agree that we should get behind the event and I have by buying tickets for games in Hull, London, Manchester, Leeds.
My only gripe is maybe we should have being given a quarter-final game.
Or alternatively an Austrailia or New Zealand group game in Hull.
So yes I agree get behind it, but I can definitely see the other point of view.

The KC would be too big for an Aussie or New Zealand group game. With no blocks sold out yet for the England game I dread to think how people would react to a game like Australia v Fiji like langtree park has got.
Hull has three great games. A quarter final would probably be a very one sided game eg New Zealand v either Tonga/Scotland/Italy

| If we can't sell out an England game we don't deserve any future RL games, you only have to look at how well the Huddersfield game is selling to show that once again the people of Hull are not backing the sport.
With Hull and Rovers alone we could easily get 20,000. In some areas of the ground it is way overpriced I agree but the majority of the stadium is £15.

I agree, but I do wonder if they have slipped up having 2 games at Craven Park, maybe 1 PNG game in Donny would have spread things out a bit more?
if you buy tickets online the '100days' promo code is still working, so you can get tickets for halfprice. So a £30 seat near the East Stand half way line is just £15, and seats everywhere else are £7.50...bargain!

If Fiji can put out a team similar to this then we should be in for a good game
1. Kevin Naiqama
2. Sisa Waqa
3. Wes Naiqama
4. Darryl Millard
5. Marika Koroibete
6. Henry Raiwalui
7. Aaron Groom
8. Ashton Sims
9. Api Koroisau
10. Petero Civoniceva
11. Tariq Sims
12. Jayson Bukuya
13. Sarafu Fatiaki
14. James Storer
15. Kane Evans
16. Korbin Sims
17. Junior Roqica
Hopefully Hayne & Uate will be made available.
