Don't remember any of them missing any substantial time in recent years. Some players prefer playing 80 minutes as being spelled disrupts their rhythm in the game.

Not necessarily. The OPTA match scores are also supposed to take into account the negative aspects of performance from players within the game; increased error rate, missed tackles, penalties conceded. At the moment it would appear that their pros are significantly outweighing their cons.

I was mainly just pointing out that whilst we are a bit thin in the forwards, amongst those whom we do have fit are some of the best SL has to offer. I was pretty confident about the derby before the injuries have now bitten in further, but I still think it is more of a leveller than putting us at a disadvantage. We may have a few players get a little tired on Friday with the extra minutes they have to play, but the Rovers pack has reportedly looked tired pretty much every week with 15 minutes to go. I still think we're in with a very good chance in this one.

I think the bench is the main area of concern especially when (if) Lynch goes off, I would play Aspinwall off the bench as a prop and replace him with Lynch to try and maintain Lynch's work ethic while he's off, and then rotate Radders and Bowden. I think our backs are more than a match for theirs but for me Turner has to stay on the left (especially with no Webster) as he's earnt it and switch Yeamo over to the right to centre to cover the turnstyle. If they play Green and Galea we must target them early and not let them get any rythem as they have had very limited game time. For me Whiting's performance will be key to us winning he's more than a solid defender but he has the ability to put someone through a gap or come up with a smart play, and has the knack of turning up in the right place at the right time.

i think you should do the math if you think its a 3-1 in real support i do agree you have better support always have but remember your average att for your first year in SL was about 5300

Interesting that you consider it is not comparable, yet you make reference to how many fans we had attending in our first year of SL...

Lets compare our promotion season to yours then

just over 3000 which isnt bad considering theres no away support in that league and before you start saying that our crowd more than doubled when we got in SL so did yours and everbody else who gets promoted its a fact in any sport

YES IN SL not NL i could say we had a better average in our first season in SL than you which is true but i didnt

You don't half talk some rubbish. Our backs will do alright, and with Lynch playing alongside Pitts/Bowden/Aspinwall/Radford I'd be pretty happy with the forwards to. Hope its a good close win.
