However the helpful lady who took my call (answered after two rings which is impressive) asked what my question was she did assure me that the question concerning the pricing of away fan's tickets was to be asked tonight and suggested I tuned in on Hull FC TV to catch the reply.
I'm guessing that the new management vetoed the question and stage managed the whole event. Even more black and whitewash at the KC it would seem. |

same price as last season for visiting fans if bought in advance
although a bit costly for away fans seeing as the south is £19, we won't be attracting the same visiting fans every other week unlike new or returning fc fans

I think i preempted that response, top quality stadium, value for money, same as last year blah blah, truth is it's still either £4 or £6 more and the perception (and that's all people need) that they are being fleeced on top of the fact that food and drink are more expensive in the away stand.

I think the reasons for the the price difference between north stand and south stand is fair enough.
as for difference in food and drink prices that isnt on.

Did you miss the bit about the South Stand being discounted this season? Why should away fans benefit from an FC-fan specific discount for a single stand?
We have no control over food and drink policy at the KC and neither do we make any money from it. |

No i didn't but like i said a 'perception' that people are being fleeced is all that's needed to put people off.
On the food issue regardless of who is in control people still equate it to Hull FC, people will still think "sod going to watch Hull FC they rip you off"
Now if 50 people are put off by those prices even if they are £19 that's £950 and times that by 11 (exclude Cats and Broncos) £10,450 plus a programme a burger or pint and your doing yourself an injustice.

I know it's different because you own your stadium, but is the catering franchised out at the Halliwell? I know similar crappy fodder is peddled at Wigan so am assuming they also use this lot www.eventmanagementcatering.com/.

I accept that all standing at Leeds is £20 for all supporters but only the away supporters are compelled to stand in the open, at the mercy of the elements |

For this reason I hate Headingley and Leeds second only to Them. And the fact that despite there being loads of loos, they only usually open the few near the bar. Wholly inadequate and disgustingly unhygenic by halftime. |

Shouldn't be able to charge the away fans £6 more per ticket for what is the same view etc as the South stand. Even the blatant rip off machine that is premiership football has a rule in place to prevent this. |

The most succesful/biggest supported team in RL play in an all seater yet charge £20
