You seen a lot of Aldous ?

I've seen bits of him in the 20s and also in the pre-season games a last year or the year before. Always rated him. Seriously think he has what it takes. Just wish he'd get given some game time in the 1st team.

Think he has got a chance just as Cunningham ,Bowden and Green . I would like to see them tried more I know people will say it's hard when people are under pressure but we all know what Washy , Dowes can do, give these lads a go

Would add Newton, Nicklas and Williams to that list.

We need to start seeing them more than just named 18th man mate. It's really holding us back as a club compared to the likes of Leeds, Saints, Castleford and Wigan for example.

Only seen Newton once did ok , Nicklas good that their keeping him involved much as they can and knows how to come to back from serious injury , Williams still undecided on

I agree, about time we played some of them. Hopefully one or two might play in the CC.

That can't be their only appearance though. I'd like to see Lyne come into the side for a couple of games too.

Would love to see him given a go as a bench player,as i think he could surprise a few.

Lyne not good enough yet IMO. Loan him somewhere else for a while, or dual reg him.

but this is the thing, we can't keep shipping players off, if the coaching is up to the job then there is no reason why a 19 year old can't make it, good enough is better than old enough. Our currnet recruitment seems to hinge on being old, past it and in no need of coaching.

It's not about shipping him off, it's about giving him a chance to play a better standard of RL then he would at U20s. Not good enough for SL last yr and this year, so needs a bigger challenge to develop further. That's what the dual registrations are all about.

Why not? it seems to be good enough for teams like Wigan,Leeds and Warrington?The experience of loaning them out,seems to have benefited them.

Championship is a damn sight better standard of rugby than u-20s and would do him good....no-where near 1st team standard yet.Would be replacing 1 dodgy winger with another one.

Disagreed. Sharp is a damn sight better then Lyne. Will develop into a really good player IMO.

WILL develop but is costing us trys for fun at the minute.

Not solely he isn't. He has cost us some, but not as many as is being made out.

When I look at outside backs of his age who are playing far better standard then he is, such as Arundel, Charnley, Evans, and Foster, then no. I think given a chance to play a better standard then U20s would improve him, though.

When will he develop? He's already 23
