My question is around the clubs criteria for selecting coaches.
Our current encumbant Mr Agar has an inferior record to all 3 of our previous coaches, namely Mr Sharpe, Mr Kear and Mr McRae.
All 3 previous coaches produced rugby that was entertaing and had us challenging for honours (indeed we won the challenge cup in 2005 under Mr Kear and reached the Grand Final in 2006 under Mr Sharpe).
The 2 immediately former encumbants in the coaching role to Mr Agar where dismissed from their duties after a poor run of form. Could you please tell me where this standing has changed as we now play the most boring and predictable rugby in Super League along with having the highest entry prices for the stadium.
The management of the club have to realise that number of fans that are growing disallusioned with this type of rugby and the apparent ineptitude of Mr Agar's coaching ability is growing from week to week.
When he was appointed as coach we were asked to give him time and judge his performance on his team (please note the performace of Michael MaGuire at Wigan that was not with his own team). Well Mr Agar now has his team and the performances are not up to standard indeed we are going backwards as shown with our recruitment and apparent panic signings.
I look forward to a response to this, however please note that if Mr Agar remains as our coach at the end of this season then neither myself or my wife will be renewing our season passes. I can stay at home and stare at the wall and still not be as bored as I am with the "product" that Mr Agar puts on the pitch each week.
