Either they are more interested in the money or they are completely clueless when it comes to on-field matters. The FACTS are that we are yet again underachieving in the areas that really matter to the fans. On the pitch. I couldn't give a toss if Agar is the most professional coach in the world, IMO he is not upto the job of making FC a top SL side. He has been given plenty of time to prove himself, well I'm afraid all we ever hear is excuse after excuse and I'm sick of it. The contract extension on April Fools Day was the last straw for me and proof that those at the top are willing to say anything to keep us quiet and they will do whatever the hell they want regardless.

There is no FACT when it comes down to Agar's ability as a head coach. The fans don't rate him but the board still seem to have belief in him. They may or may not be proved right but they have made a decision on what they think is good for Hull FC. They would not appoint the wrong guy because it was cheaper.

I would like Agar to go at the end of the season but some of the bollox written about the board at times is laughable.

The FACT about agar is that there is little or no evidence to prove that he is a good coach yet shedloads to the contrary.

Again its not something I normally condone and if it wasn't for the fact the board have signed up for another 2 and half years of this I wouldn't be suggesting it now.

That's opinion not fact. The fans might end up being right about him or maybe the board will be proved right. My point is they would not knowingly appoint someone that they thought was no good, they want the club to do well just like we do.

Within certain constraints I agree. They know as well as we do that a proven top class coach would give us a better chance of being successful. They also know that this would cost more money. ATM they are more than happy to risk the cheaper option paying off

The problem with that staement is that in truth RA is actually a very good BRITISH coach that has been very unlucky with injuries.. why cant everyone see that !
The board at Fc dont travel around the world courting Mason, Fitzgibbon, Crocker, Long etc and one or two others we were very close to signing because they take the cheap options, they do it because they want the club to be strong and RA will prove a lot wrong...

Cant disagree there though, I believe it was in fear of the rumoured shuffle of coaches pending in SL

The injuries excuse is getting really old really fast. We have lost plenty of games with near enough a full strength squad to choose from and certainly no worse than the oppsotion we were playing.

We've had some bad luck with injuries, but the team has consistently failed to perform to the required standard given the players available. Injuries are no excuse for not being able to tackle, pass, kick, or chase with enthusiasm. They are no excuse for a lack of defensive organisation or determination. They are no excuse for dropped ball and stupid penalties. There is no evidence whatsoever of Agar having anything approaching even moderate ability when it comes to tactics, basic skills training, motivation, and use of the bench.

In short, we are performing well short of where we should be even taking injuries into account.

So please clear this up for me, are you saying then that we have a god given right to beat Salford, Crusaders etc , that being the case here is an easy answer....
Lets turn SL into a fantasy season and we can work out who beats who and then the Grand final teams all on day one based on which players the clubs purchase !!
saves a lot of injuries and we can play the whole season in one day !!
we just dont have a right to beat them teams im afraid, they are pros too remember and for argument sake at Wrexham, we didnt play badly we were just beaten by the better side on the day simple as that 13 vs 13
