Whiting was actually one of our best players last season imo..very clever rugby brain that lad, he clearly excelled last night as did all the lads long may it continue

Whiting could play in any of the supposed top 4 teams in the SL. He is class (in my opinion). He just reads the game so well. He reminds me of Knocker Norton and jason Smith.

He reads the game incredibly well, and he tackles above his weight, I've never disputed either of those things, but that is why he is a 2nd rower in an ideal world.

Thought Whiting played very well. Still believe in horses for courses but i dont think Whiting can be dropped for next week. Only change for me would be if Calderwood is fit.

rich whiting and the other 16 players were outstanding last night-its now up to these players to maintain this level as there are players waiting in the wings for a chance,which is only a good thing for the team as a whole..for now he keeps his place and its very well deserved. imo...of course!

I for one was disappointed that Jordan Turner was left out against St Helens, However after Richard Whiting performance against Saints I have to congratulate Agar on this decision. If only Whiting had pace he would surely be an International player as he reads a game so well. I would still like to see Turner in the squad but i honestly can't see him getting in until any injuries happen. What does anyone else think?

Another excellent performance by Whiting last night. He'll really take some shifting from the right centre slot if he keeps that up.

Yes I agree, tis a strange one..if any-thing I would bring back Calders (specialist winger) and drop Hall, Whiting is doing a great job.

Dont mention his defence, some on here will have you believe he fell over infront of Vainikolo causing Big Les to stumble and fall several feet backwards, as it will only cause comments about his perceived lack of pace

The centre spot is Whitings to lose, he looked the better of the two centres last night and that's not a criticism of Yeamo's display.
I thought that weaving run at the end had try written all over it, fair play to the Hudds cover defence
