A couple of rumours to discuss.

Rich Agar has been granted no more than 8 games with 'his side' next season.....If the results aren't something like 'outstsnding'...Then Nobby will be on 'standby'.

Rumour two.....Morgan will not be comming here.......Wigan are currently showing him an open wallet, and it aint empty

If he has got 8 games then we will be in a position like Warrington this year then so hopefully we have a good coach on hand and then start to win games soon as he gets the team sorted out.

I don't know what is more of a concern, Agar having 8 games or being coached by Nobhead.

If the club are not taking next season seriously and are willing to sack off the first 8 games, does this mean that our season ticket will be 8 games cheaper?

Firstly, how would Schofield know and does that mean Noble is going to be sacked by Wigan and then not try and get another job until around week 8 to see how Agar is doing?

Secondly, Morgan would never come here and the link with Wigan has been around for weeks.

Btw I would have Noble like a shot, a top coach who do a very good job at Hull.

Its funny cos for all the stick that Noble is getting he has built one of the best Under 18 and reserve teams ive seen in a long time and if he does leave Wigan he will leave a legacy that could well be a new GB pack looking at their 17 and 18 year old forwards.

Not forgetting that they have effectively finished 3rd in SL in the last two years and are in the CC semi's too. He's hardly doing a bad job.

Some people are just never happy. I'd take him in a shot.

Do not for the life of me understand peoples reservations about Noble...the guy has a proven track record and although he hasn't won a trophy at wigan he has improved them immensly.

Noble would take us back to where we belong.....among the challengers for silverware.

I would be more than happy with Noble, I don't understand why people would be unhappy if we appointed him. Is it because he doesn't have an Aussie accent?

His record at Bradford for winning major trophies is better than any other SL coach. Wigan play some decent rugby and look to be bringing through some top class youngsters.

The other major factor for me is he always has his teams playing their best rugby come the 'business' end of the season. You don't win trophies in March/April, you win them by hitting form in the playoffs, and the last couple of years he's come close.

To be fair did he build them or did his coaching staff build them?

I would be pretty fed up if I was a coach with the Reserves or 18's and had signed the players and coached them all year long only to be then told it was the clubs Head Coach who built the teams

I agree. I've not particularly been a fan of Noble over the years, due to the poor quality of rugby his Bradford side played and the way that carried over at the start of his Wigan career. I have to admit though, this year they've played some pretty flowing and inventive stuff, and if he came in with that sort of approach as well as instilling his winning mentality I'd be pretty happy.

He's in charge to takes overall accountability. Pretty sure Vievers (doesnt look like ive spelt it right) and the U18s coach would need to take responsibility too.

Just find it amazing that they can find 17 year olds that smashed us when we had Maloney and Thacks starting and the same 17 year olds smashed you when you had Mills and Azuie playing.

In a way you are right, he probably appointed the staff but I doubt he does much more than watch the games and give an indication of who he wants signing on longer contracts etc.

We can just have a hug and agree that he is a lovely man who will do a good job at Hull...........sorry, WOULD do a good job at Hull IF he was given the job

Not sure how true it is but I was told last night Agar is as good as gone already. I will however protect my reputation by saying it was from a taxi driver who had spoken to some first teamers on Saturday night.

I have no reason not to trust him, if you know much about taxi drivers that work the Station rank
