| Now I clapped the Crusaders when they walked back to their positions after their try Mr Agar, and I'll tell you why.
Celtic play week in week out, for very little reward, but they still try their best and try to play attractive rugby league. They keep at it week in week out. I think our beloved side could do well to take a leaf out of their book!
Now I have always been of the opinion that some players and coaches 'get it'. What Hull FC means to the fans. All we damn well need it a scrap, something to support and we will. We saw it tonight.
Get off your high horse and remember who you work for.

That is their choice, it is not mine. I, and many around me appreciated a good try. Hull FC fans can be hard, but I believe they are fair. We have had to watch a lot of rubbish this season, and still over 10,000 turned up tonight in awful weather. A hell of a lot of Super league clubs would love that sort of support.

| Agar hasn't said anything wrong!!! whether or not you rate him as a coach doesn't come into it, the team do need support from the fans.
We are becoming more like the wire fans each week. Disgraceful behaviour.

Like i have said previously the fans did support the team during that game!! FFS!!! Are we all to act like mushrooms and not express ourselves at what is fast becoming a dire situation at this club? Get in the real world won't you!
Oh and ny the way 10k plus turned out in the cold, crap conditions to watch us struggle to beat the worst team in the comp.....go figure.

| Are you telling me despite recent performances you expected a magical performance last night ??
They are in poor form, low on confidence and you think the way too gee them up is to boo them??
If you don't like what you see then don't go, you have a choice.

| It's a bit of a catch 22 Imo. He's right in someways, you only have to have been at the Leeds game to see that when the crowd get behind the team they play better. I think we are entering a stage were the players dislike the fans, and that's never going to work. I think the solution is going to have to be mass replacement of the players.
Agar in his current position is not in a good place to be been negative about the fans.

True and some are clearly not going. I shall still be there though (guess that makes me a "sheep" or a "moron" according to some on here).

| Some of the comments on here are OTT for me. He was asked a question and ok maybe he could have thought about it a bit better but bloody hell come on!!
The biggest worry for me is that I'm finally hoping at the end of this season that a lot of the deadwood is going to be shown the door by Agar. If we replace him before the end of the season with somebody else some of these players who have taken the pi$$ out of our club for so long could get another chance under a different coach and that would upset me far more than a few words said in an interview 5 mins after a game.

I agree.
The double standards on here is incredible. Agar is criticised for not keeping his thoughts to himself, yet we are all aware how important confidence is in sport and as a collective crowd have done our best to undermind individual players and the team.
Over the last 2 seasons at various times we have jeered Motu Tony, Craig Hall, Tommy Lee, Chris Thorman and the team generally. What positives have come of this?
It was evident last night in the first quarter that we were trying to promote the ball more, and get away from one man out rugby. It didn't work because of poor handling/execution. Imo this was clearly due to lack of confidence, but did we as a crowd try to lift the side and support this attempt to play a more expansive game? No, we got on the player's backs even more and this caused them to revert to type. And then we applaud/cheer the Crusaders for scoring against us! I wonder what Lauaki and Tansey thought of the faithful at that point.
The board and coaching staff are not without blame for this seasons failings. Administrative errors and poor recruitment/retention, allied with questionable selection/tactics have played their part. But we as a crowd have our part to play.
It is not surprising that our best rugby was played, in the second half against Leeds, when the pressure was lifted from the players and we got behind them. This is probably what Agar means about training well all week, when there is no pressure, and not reproducing that form on game day.
I know some people will say that enough is enough, and there comes a time when we have to let our feelings be known. I understand this, but we all know that we have an average squad. From the signings announced for next season it appears that Agar and the board know that too. Getting on the players backs now serves no purpose, other than to unsettle the team further.

| I had to listen on radio and I kept hearing cheers when Hull did something wrong and especially when Celtic scored.
Irony at it's best but is usually reserved for a top of the table team when they are getting beat by poor opposition not a crap team being beaten by even worse dog poo.
We are at a low ebb and agar is not good enough poor bloke.
Agar to U21s now with Sharp and Last until end of miserable season.
Next week ......glad I am on holiday as Morgan ( our next coach) will make it 7 out of 10 derby wins since they came up - which is a disgrace in itself

Off course fans have a right to their say. The point I'm making is that there is a consequence to all our actions. We get on the players' backs at a game and invariably their performance get worse.
imo criticism is better reserved for these message boards, or communications directly to the club.

There were over 3000 of us at cas last week showing our support and they rewarded that loyalty with utter shiite on the pitch. Fans getting on their backs is a consequence of their lack of effort

| I was one who was clapping the Celtic players and I don't really care what people think of that. 5 mins later I was cheering Hull and was clapping the team at the end.
The cheering of Celtic moment was for me an outlet for me to display my displeasure at the way our team are just turning up and not putting any effort in. In no way do I want Hull to get beat but that moment was all about releasing frustration that has built up.
The fans will get behind the players when they put effort in as they did in the last 10 and they will also get behind them when we are getting beat providing they play well.
I find it hard to believe that one week Agar can critisise players for not performing but according to some fans we cant display our feeling about player effort. I agree it is unfair that players performing well are tarred with the same brush but thats the way it is, it will only give them more reason to turn on the under performers.

Even when we took the usual 60 odd point defeats at Pies, Saints , leeds , Bulls id still applaud consolation try

He has every right to go on record with it if it affects tghe performance on the pitch.
Never thought I would see the day that a Hull team or a Hull player were boo'ed whilst actually playing by our own fans. At the end of a game or on a discussion forum is one thing, but being slated by those who claim to follow you through thick and thin whilst they are trying to do something about it shows how poor some of the fans are.
Well, this is most definately a thin time. What ever happend to supporting the 13 out there in black and white. Or is this the reaction of those fans who think we have some divine right to win or have never known the really bad times.
FFS START SUPPORTING THE TEAM WHILST THEIR PLAYING.
SLATE THEM ALL YOU LIKE AFTERWARDS!!
