Identifying good players to sign is one thing. Being able to coach them is quite another. Agar can do the first but there is absolutely no sign that he can do the second.

If we wait 10 games next season before doing something then that will be a third season written off.

for me the board will keep faith with these guys as rule the tool in his statements make's it clear mr agar sqaud will be from next season as hes been made to deal with what hes got this season.

As Kosh has just mentioned, the players have been given stick all season.

There is no creative players in our team maybe barring Whiting. Although he's hardly someone who should be our main play maker and hasn't been given the opportunity to show if he's capable of it.

The pack gives us no go forward at all.
The backs don't get any decent ball and don't stand deep at all.
Our half backs are sh.t, don't create any space. Stick to a sh.t gameplan which doesn't change regardless of who we play and won't try anything off the cuff.

Yeah and have we ever been consistent during the 5 years that they have left? We had an awful season when we got to wembley, we won the challenge cup we didnt have the best of seasons ( i think we lost 71-0 to bradford). The season we got to the grand final was a good but still had problems with the board and changes of coaching staff during the season.

AGAR AND SHARPE have run there cause now its time for a change FOOK giving them a chance lets get someone in who can utilise our team to the best of there ability?? Personally the plight of us (wigan) shows you how bad it can be when you keep changing coaches 11 coaches, 10 years. Where are we now? As hard as it is when nothings going right, all you can do as fans is keep on supporting your team.

At the end of the day, a coach would be able to create something from nothing. Rule stated on KCFM last week that in his opinion Agar and Sharp are two of the best tacticians in the game. They apparently leave nothing left unturned. They check the oposition out and brief their troops so well every week.

Yes we have injuries, but lets be honest would we really have anything to offer with half the injured players back. We are totally bereft of ideas. Not creative players. The only one with a brain (Whiting) is clearly not part of the coach's plans. Why he was on the bench today while we have a 2nd row in the starting 13 with a broken wrist is proof imo that Whiting will be looking elsewhere next year.

Agar is proving that he is incapable of using what resources he has. He has failed to galvinise the team as a team. I honestly don't think he should be sacked, just asked to step down to no 2 and a proper coach with a proven ability to blend a team together whatever the handicap.

To coin a phrase. A top chef would be able to produce a quality tasty meal even with cheap products.

I don't think we can blame injurys. Are we basically saying that if the first choice 17 aren't playing then the remainder of the squad can only manage 5 drives and a kick with poor defence? Rubbish, the coaches haven't got a clue, it is so obvious to every except those fools on the board. Let's see how safe they are if we sell lots less passes for next season.

he should go find a championship club, learn his trade, and improve his skills

a big club like ours should not be used as a training ground for a coach.

when was the last time we saw Agar alter his tactics to exploit a weakness in the opposition? I can't say I've seen one tactical move in a year, its the same tired dull rugby every week.

its alright saying we have all these players for next season, but i simply don't think he has the skills to coach them

I turned the radio off at 24. I don't like to call for the coach's head, but I am really struggling to come up with any valid reason why the players' morale is so low. The next weekend we have off should be a "team building" exercise.

Morale shoulden't be low and that is the problem, they played their best 30mins of the season against (an admittedly 'foot off the gas') Leeds...where was the momentum from that today?

and injuries are no excuse, we fielded the same 19 except Cordoba coming in for Thackray, a prop for a prop.

As an FC fan it seems that rovers are going in the right direction and we arent! We play with no passion, pride and enthusiasm and in terms of the board and the coaching staff, theres no overall leadership and direction. Half the people at the club are foooking clueless and i think a change is defintely needed. The only reason that is stopping Agar getting sacked is possibly that there is no threat of relegation! The board, coaches and some players have made too many mistakes and if we did that in our jobs we would be sacked so they should too!

Would still be an upgrade on Agar Jimmy.
