| Craig Greenhill...............I for one liked the bloke, he was a 'decent' player, lets not get carried away he was nothing more tho. He certainly didn't take a backward step. Its because of this more than his playing ability that he'll be remembered for me, I like players who dish it out a bit players like Tim Street, Jason Temu & Andy Dannatt (purely for his elbow taking out Hanley).
But threads like this do make me smile because of calls of “Greenhill is just what we need right now”.
Is he really???
With nearly every man and his dog who wears a black & white shirt jumping on the band wagon to call players for there off the field antics. So we’d be happy to welcome back a man who was at the club when we certainly did have a drinking culture and I don’t think anyone will disagree knuckles was a big part of that as was Jason Smith in his time here (now there’s a player who could turn a game).
Anyways my point is, yes I know we are bad at the minute, really we are. But as much as I liked Greenhill on and off the pitch he would make no difference to our performances at all................................in fact we’d probably give more penalties away and have more stories of off the field antics.

| Out of that lot there's only Stephen Holmes who could be described as having " graced" our colours. Maybe Sammut but didn't hang around long enough.

| Is it just coincidence that our 3 most talented loose forwards in the last 30 years, norton, crane and smith, all liked a few beers? Maybe Radford needs to drink a bit more if we're going to persist with playing him there.

| Matt Daylight retired from professional RL i believe and joined the Fire Brigade.
Gary Lester carried on playing in the minor leagues[sure I heard he had teamed up with Peter Walshand went semi pro and carried on his trade as a joiner.
Luke Felsch was a qualified teacher as i recall and went back to his previous profession.
Not sure about any of the others.

| I always wondered what happened to Kevin James the Welsh winger who scored at Wembley in '85?.
My other favourite was "Disco Dancing" Brian Blacker, did he go coaching?
We all know what my all time hero Peter Sterling is doing and I can tell you my other hero, Paul Eastwood is married and working for BSS in St Helens.
