I also disagree with your assessment of the comments. The remark about the Prodigy tune was crass at the very least and also demonstrated a lack of knowledge about the case in question. Similarly, his comments about the FCTV segment seem to have missed the point that it [iwasn't an interview[/i. It was a way to disseminate information to the fans and was actually a suggestion from outside the club. Burns and Gollum were just exhibiting a bad case of sour grapes.

I think that Blunderside - or, more accurately, Burns and Gollum - made comments inappropriate to the BBC, regardless of the latitude afforded local stations. I'd feel that regardless of the target of their diatribes. The correct course of action for the club to follow, IMO, would have been a formal complaint to the BBC with a follow up to the regulator.

fact is burns and gollum would not make the comments they make about Hull FC about either the dobbins or city. City are big news so they can't afford to fall out with them and things with the dobbins are too cosy to upset the apple cart. rule should have taken burns to the cleaners over his vile comments but to ban the station is pointless and just throws fuel on the fire. Deary me, this is just laughable. Please, be careful what you wish for. We may not be perfect but at least we are not Hull KR. Do you really know how well Rovers are run?? How are they doing financially? Are they continuing to shed/lose staff up to the point where Hudge the Grudge will be running on with the water bottle before long... Dear me. Of course to be fair they are doing better ON the field right now (and on the treatment table) and that's where a lot of the dissatisfaction stems from.

To me, Rule is as accessible as any Chief Exec can be expected to be. We constantly hear about "spin"... for God's sake what do you expect a Chief Exec to do? For me, Rule actually speaks pretty well in a reasonable, objective manner (from the club's point of view OF COURSE) but I fear it is wasted on many of the experts on here...
