just dont understand why people cant see he is the problem

I think he should go and take Stanley ‘what does he do anyway’ Gene with him. However, AP clearly said that TS would be his last coaching appointment, so what does that mean ? If, and it’s a big if, he were to sack him what would happen ? AP should put the club up for sale and see what happens …

The thing is, Hoy and his dad might have poisoned the club for any new recruits so they may have felt they had no choice.

Theres still 10 players here from the Radford era, four head coaches have being and gone since then. Yet these jokers still get contracts.

Tony Smith failing miserably should scare the living daylight out of us, goes to show what a state we are in.

Surprised tbh, all the noises seemed to be about backing him.
Talk of further restructuring, wonder what form that will take.
On balance probably the right decision as we have gone backwards under Tony but I'd be fascinated to hear his honest, unvarnished views on what was/is wrong and how he planned to fix it.

I just dont get it, on paper he was what should have being needed.

Every club hes gone to they have improved, KR wouldnt be where they are now without his couple of seasons. Its just fc all over that he couldnt make anything work here.

People may say he lost his magic but just before he came to us he transformed KR from bottom place to attending semi finals in the league and cup.

Baffles me how it hasnt happened here.

My thoughts too. It’s a PR move to try and salvage recruitment. Just hope it’s taken them a few days because they were lining up a replacement.

The change in tone is very surprising, I wouldn't be shocked if player power has pushed him out off the back of Hoy's imminent departure.

Regardless he would have took us to the top or not, the way the players just fall out with a coach and get them sacked is appalling.

It’s the fans that got him sacked. He was OOC at end of season and Pearson knew he couldn’t extend him with how we’re playing. It would’ve been suicide. Subsequently he’s having to sack him with the aim of getting a new coach in to control recruitment.
