Apparently Bulls did not quite follow the internal disciplinary procedure, and the tribunal said he was due two more weeks' wages as a result - which the club had already agreed anyway, apparently.

As for Sculthorpe, whilst what you say may come to pass nothing has been announced to that effect as yet.

No doubt our pack is a strength but I see Dowes replacement with someone more dynamic as a way to improve it. And we need to improve to challenge.

we wont win much with people of dowes quality in our squad....solid but not a great player....me need to move on and let him go..signing players just because we feel we owe them something is a thing of the past, and so it should be, we owe dowes nothing...GET RID,.....

Yes, we do need to improve, but not so much in the pack IMO. With the lack of quality front-rowers on the market ATM, improvement in that area may have to wait.

Agree I'd like to see us bring someone in, it just seems that that is less and less possible.

Think the problem with us Paul is that we have too many grafting props, now that we has signed Radford i would prefer us to not sign Dowes, the only problem is who is available to sign.

Well, it looks likely we've missed our targets (by that i mean us on this board) unless Fielden comes off.

Still, at least our club don't announce their interest, only to disappoint the fans!

You need two impact props and two workhorses.

Radford/Ogre
Dowes/Moa

Balance seems good to em and if one gets injured then Fitz can play as a workhorse or Lauaki can play as impact, seems to me we have excellent cover there too.

I could laugh but tbh I think Rovers will get Mason, them or Cats.

I don't think we have a young prop that is ready, certainly not heard anyone talk about one.
