Hopefully as many membership holders as possible take advantage of the offers. I've got two lapsed supporters going. They're not expecting miracles but a decent performance and an enjoyable night out and they may be persuaded to attend a few more games during the season.

It needs a total refresh , I aren't there for the entertainment but see enough to see why it needs changing . The club should give Brian Potter a ring from the Phoenix Club .

Funny you should mention Brian Potter Because last week when the club sent my mate the wrong season tickets I said to him, "send the buggers back" and we instantly had a spontaneous sing song!!!! On a serious note I see Cam Scotts torn his hammy at Wakey he doesn't have much luck does he, but as many have said on here he does appear injury prone.

I think Myler is talking more long term, I'd be suprised if any fringe players would want to leave Hull, hard to imagine many other clubs where there would be a better pathway to the first team.

I can't imagine he's talking about anybody right now. The fact he uses the word "eventually" and then says "time will tell". But he is right in what he is saying, because eventually (to use the word again) one of our younger players surely will get their head turned, unless we can show (and it is what we are aiming to do) that their is a genuine pathway into the first team and be able to use Martin, Balmforth, Charles, Kemp as examples that that is true

I see Wigan have just signed two Saints youngsters from under their noses .The red v is a good read atm.

Salford take over done, good for the game. Hope the fans back them now. As mentioned before, a fire sale at Salford wouldn't have been good for us.

Seems all 12 clubs now have wealthy owners, time to put their heads together, get the right TV deal and get the sport moving in the right direction. Can't see a better opportunity. Also all clubs in a good position, so harder to sign players and the NRL will be looking more at our players, so youth players become more and more important.

I also see the RFL have just announced that the points system for misdemeanours has now sensibly been deemed to start from 1st January and with not see a carry over from last year's transgressions. Ligi will l be pleased

Putting games on streaming with some key games on BBC/Channel4 is a big financial gamble but something has to change. Also need to factor in the cost of filming the games. That said even the BBC would cough up more if you were giving them games like the season opener, Good Friday and the Grand Final rather than 3rd choice pick.

Is it that the the RFL haven't really marketed or sold the game well enough or indeed at all to the other TV and media outlets or is there simply not enough significant interest from other parties willing to pay to screen live games? I can't remember the specifics of the new SKY deal as to if there was a limit to games that could be broadcast outside of SKY but seem to remember TNT Sports and DAZN were in the running for the rights but the RFL chose SKY. That said you'd think that a good marketer would have been able to have sold the rights to broadcast a handful of games to either TNT or DAZN. For me the RFL just don't seem to market themselves well enough and it appears from the outside its more comfortable/easier for them to stay within the norm as in stick with SKY like they have since the inception of SL than push outside of the comfort zone and work hard to secure better.

As I say I could be wrong and it maybe just be a case of simply ironing out a few minor details, who knows.

From what I've read on the Cas/Jepson situation I think he's looking to get extra investors on board before completing the takeover but there doesn't seem to be much interest and the takeover is in the balance.
