My main hope is these are the last desperate moves of a guy who never got what he wanted ultimately and is now trying to ruffle a few feathers before he disappears.

Surely though ther council will see how he has behaved and make sure this isn't allowed to happen again with the SMC.

The City supporter on Talksport stated that the City Councilors should show respect to Dr Allam. Then he show no respect to the Lord Mayor when he stated that he could not put a sentence together and people like him are running the Council,Both Councilors put a good case plus they are elected by the people of this City. If people think they are not getting value then next Election don't vote for them.I for one believed you earned respect not showed it.Dr Allam has shown disrespect by taking the photo's down of a local hero of this City

Unfortunately the SMC should of being independent however Hull FC where not willing to or able to put the money up to get their say.

The issue is the media pressure may tell on the Allams, which unfortunately shouldn't, the Allams are not in the wrong for the use of their property. Neither Hull City nor Hull FC have any right to to put pictures up.

I understand your disappointment, however as a City fan i wouldn't even know whichone the John Whiteley suite is, or who he is. I didn't even notice inthe Kingston suite that your pictures where even taken down. At the end of the day though both of our clubs will still be here after the Allams, and both will still have pictures everywhere no doubt.

I think its got a bit petty and many people have gone over the top on both sides.

I admit i don't and i am sure i could ask plenty of my friends from this City and others, whether it is right or wrong, more people would know Deano and Nick Barmby. Whether they deserve more attention is debateable, but they will get more attention.

I agree whole heartedly, however why should you have this in something you don't own and don't run. The company running it. Dean Windass's memorabilia costs £20 per game, now even if we go OTT, and say its going to cost £50 per game for Whitely, why can't one of you lot or the council pay for it if its that important.

Profits is easy, losses become problematic then though. The current arrangement allows the council to, if not eliminate risk, at least create a bit of distance from it. There has to be a sweetener for the other party, otherwise nobody would do it.
Turning and keeping profits on a pubic asset is politically difficult, which doesn't leave too many other good options.

Who pays for that ? And what does it entail, 1 picture, a wall? his shirts

I am not denying he is to the City, and he was probably a legend to both of you, i just mean in terms of the country and who people know. I know very little onthe man, and i apologise for that, i shall read up on him. Whether they are fit enough to tie his laces or not, i can guarantee who the average man in the street would know.

I have no idea who pays for Deano's stuff and i have very little knowledge on it, even so, what if whiteley's cost £100, its hardly a huge sum of money and all this would of being avoided.

Something to me sounds iffy about all this and i am pretty sure Adam Pearson is sat somewhere laughing his head off at us all arguing over this. Not sure why we haven't haerd from it yet, or did he know all about this all along, pretty sure he did.

Yes the Allams do not own the stadium, however you are their tenant, and for all intensive purposes's he is running it and therefore has control over what goes up on walls, not you, or Hull FC or me.

One way or another this needs to be sorted as its really taking away from the fact your seasons started and ours is at a critical point, The SMC need to put a statement out and state their position and that they won't budge either way, whether putting it up or not.

They've sort of done that tonight. Johnny Whiteley suite can stay named as such. That's Allam's sporting gift to us.

What planet are you on?. Allam, Hull City owner= Allam SMC owner. Does that not give you a clue how all this looks?. Even a monkey could work it out.

The Allam's can't just pocket the income of the SMC, and why would the Allams put extra expenses on to Hull City. If you don't know football, it is undergoing a financial review basically where clubs can't spend anymore than what they get in, so why would they add expenses, when our expenses are far to high. We need to cut costs, so this is only adding to our costs if anything. So clearly that issue isn't an issue. So in other words we are cutting off our nose to spite our face admittedly, but to say its to make the Allams a profit is wrong as its making it harder for them at Hull City as they need to find more income, which can't come from the Allams own back pockets.

Someone prove that wrong.
