John Isa was playing scrum half with Brett Seymour at stand off for the Vulcans. In this time Isa won 2 man of the match awards and Seymour none. Personally I'd have been happy to sign both of them.

I only saw the final were Seymour was easily the better half on the pitch but was impressed with Vulcans starting 7 Pita Godinet who got moved to fb early and had some good touches.

Yes, I've seen Godinet play, but only at hooker. Looked a good prospect, and promising that Heremaia was chosen above him for the first team games.

My mate and I were chatting to him in a bar in Leeds on Saturday night.....when we wished him luck for next season his body language and expression possibly suggested he's been told he's not going to be a part of it things

I was hopeful go well for us in his second season with a new coach and more experienced centre inside him.....if he does go I wish him luck because he seemed like a nice fella.

Bad news if true about Sharp. Would hope, if he has gone, he's replaced with quality.

Not going to be Jodie Broughton (not that I believed it anyway), he has just rubbished the rumours to me and a few others on twitter.

Hope its not true, should be given a chance next season.

Would definitely need a replacement if true, I liked Sharp's work rate & wish him well whatever happens.
As a side note, last week bomber said we couldn't bring in anyone else till Obst had gone. However only 2 or 3 weeks ago he also said that we had just missed out on an Aussie who decided to stay in the NRL.
So surely we must have space on the cap regardless of what Obst does unless the Aussie was coming for nowt!
