I did however enjoy asking a rovers numpty at work today what his opinion was of Moa, "fat useless t****r" was his reply. Oh how I enjoyed the look on his face when I informed him he could be heading their way.

If we allow big Sam to go and sign for them sickly b@$tards, it will be just one more example of Rule and Agar rolling over while Grudgehull tickles their bellies.

Not only do we need big Sam's go-forward in our front row, but allowing the dobbins to strenghten what is by far the weakest part of their squad, will be just too much to take.

If this happens, it will just confirm what a lot of fans are already thinking, that our club is run by a bunch of circus clowns blindly fumbling from one fiasco to another.

Cant believe people want us to sign sam at any price . The blokes overseas and average at best , just the signing we"ve been trying not to make . Cant really see the fuss if he does go .

For me the worrying aspect of that squad layout is we have decent cover for every position except halfback, I know we have players who can 'fill in' but there's no other recognised halfback in the squad at all other than the frontline two. It would be nice to see an up and coming young player in the squad, even if it’s only for experience.

I think that we are looking at young half back talent at other clubs!

Good to see Danny Washbrooke at 13 and boy have we got some second rowers still too many for my liking, would sacrifice one and get some more half back cover.

Still - probably more an indication of how they'd like things to pan out rather than what will actually happen.
