Only thing that goes against that is the claims that Harlequins were supposedly willing to just match whatever offers he may have got. He's pretty much the poster boy for RL in the capital, they'd have done everything possible to keep him there. IMO he's probably just got fed up of being on the losing side most weeks.

Although probably being overhyped to just how good he currently is (largely due to non-fed tightening increasing the values of Brits), IMO he is undoubtedly the best prop option on the market. As such I'd expect him to sign for one of the very best sides around, which isn't currently us, realistically.

Yeah I get that feeling tbh however would it be so bad? Our pack this year has been good and our problems have been in the halves and backs. If we go in with the same props minus Yak but with Fitz/Lauaki as back up then we are still in good shape.

Sculthorpe is on his way out I think. I'd be gutted if we resigned Dowes.
