actually they can request us not to play, i doubt Pearson will refuse as not many salford fans will travel friday night! there is also a premiership rule that no other sport can be played on the pitch 24 hours leading upto a league game

the bbc game is on a sunday, they get 1st pick, they will more than likely choose hudds v saints!

I seem to remember being in the Circle restaurant for a lunchtime game and watching, as soon as our game was over, as the ground staff went on the pitch preparing it for football, possibly for the same day. I may be mistaken on the timings but it was pretty soon after, hence the speed of changeover.

Think you may be talking about the play offs in 2007, City played at lunchtime and we played in the evening. that came about as, under the top 6 format, 6th place Wigan had won which meant 5th and 4th (us) would get a home game if we won the 1st play off match

Hudds v saints tv match, all other games played on the sunday to kick off at 2pm to allow 5th round draw to take place at 5pm which is great

we should have played Friday,tell city where to get off
