I really hope you're not serious, Tom Briscoe's talent is second to none. Some of the plays I've seen him make are pure quality. Crooks has huge potential, but no where near. Yet.

Always sad to lose a class player, but as previously stated if he doesn't want be here then turah. Would be very disappointed if he goes to another SL team.

losing the 2nd best english winger is not good news at all and is going to be very hard to replace imo if not impossible.
after the fc v wigan game when the team were clapping the fans Briscoe was getting big hugs off Tomkins and Oloughlin , at the time i just thought it was the england players bonding but now i think the deal has been done for a few weeks (well maybe not in writing)

Big blow to lose him and what I don't understand is why we can't retain him? Is it simply wanting to win trophies? If we want to be successful we have to keep our best players. You won't see Hall or Charnley leaving.

If tomkins ends up going to the NRL next season i cant see wigan winning anything!

Look at the end of last season when they lost him in the play offs, they were nowhere near a threat when he was in the squad. Could be another manu scenario!

At his age? I'd genuinely stay at FC for another couple of seasons and see if what we're trying to build here comes to fruition. It's not like we're offering peanuts or it's his last chance to win trophies etc.

With Hock, Mossop, Richards, Tomkins leaving Wigan, and potentially Wane as coach too, surely that would be a risk him going to Wigan with a lot of uncertainty about how the team will manage with those losses.

I would not be happy if after all of this he leaves Hull to move 2 hours West.

Me neither. I would lose at lot of repsect for him if he does. Although he's mostly kept his own council about this he seems to have allowed stories that's he's going to Aus prosper and most of us have been understanding of this. But to go to a SL rival would be a kick in the teeth for me.

If Briscoe goes to wigan it will be a kick in the teeth for FC as he's always said he would be going to AUS.

Yes I agree. He's had long enough to make his mind up and as he shows no sign of accepting our offer its time we made a decision and moved on.

"Take his time"? He's had months, it's clear that he is leaving.

Maybe the club already know and for whatever reason are keeping it quiet, otherwise I'm disappointed that Briscoe hasn't been more upfront.

Will be gutted in a way when he goes. Hard to replace and hard to take him going to another English club rather than the nrl.
That said he may be be joining a Wigan club who are shedding quality players.
I'm sure the club will reinvest his and tickles salary back into the squad.

Other than the dropped kick off I thought he was excellent last night. He's also been moving around the field a lot more than he used to. Will be a big loss for us
