I watched every game he played to. Maybe he not good enough for a top 4 team, but is crookes?? Im not gonna knock him as not seen him play much.

But apart from the widnes match, foster gave his all every match and would of been a good signing. But like i previously said, its my opinion.

I thought he did a good job by backing up, showing enthusiasm in kick chases and defended his wing reasonably well. Would have been pleased to keep him for next season. Good experience at a young age.

Hair comment is just daft.

foster doesn't get a game at saints for a reason

Mixed reviews on Saints board. Some think he's alright by too far down pecking order. But others think he's been hard done by.

Lineham to be our next big thing at the club IMO. However, I would have rather had Foster than Crookes I think. Based on what I've seen of both of them, granted only seen Crookes a couple of times. Foster would have demanded more money though.

I'd go for Lineham, but I think I would choose Foster over Crookes. I think that both are of a similar ability, but Foster can kick which edges him over Crookes.
Whichever we had, I would have Briscoe and Lineham as our first choice wingers at the moment.

End of the day its my opinion, im all for crookes proving me wrong and hope he does.

As for gentles opinion, he brought him in on loan so he must of thought he'd do a good job for us

So a kid with less than 5 SL games is preferable to a player who has played in 2 grand finals. That's why we haven't signed him and he can't get a game at saints

Really like the look of Lineham and would love him and Crooks (Ben) to form a long term wing/centre partnership. Early days, but both definitely have potential.

True, however I'd rather have him as cover/competition than Crookes, based on the amount I've seen of them both.

Hope Lineham gets the 2 shirt this season, but can see Crookes getting it. Not knocking him, just not seen a lot of him to have proper judgement.

Would be a great, young partnership. Both full of confidence as well. Will be great competition for places between Lineham/Crookes and Arundel/Crooks.

Really don't rate Foster. Apart from his goal kicking he offers very very little. There was times last season I couldn't remember him touching the ball in attack!!

Let him go to the other sport, as it will suit him down to the ground only having to lick at goal all match.

We needed a goal-kicker at the time - The lad fitted in real well but he was a loanee and we already had other irons in the fire. Hope he gets a contract some-where. Not with us though.

I think the idea of taking Foster over Crookes as a back up to Lineham is a completely redundant one. Why would he swap not getting a game at Saints for not getting a game for us? If he leaves Saints, it's for first team rugby, which he's not good enough for at the top end of the table, so he's just not really what we need.

Well, Prince & Miller both received final offers, hopefully we'll have better news from the Miller camp.

I've gone on record saying he was my preferred choice from the start.

Don't see the point in retaining Aspinwall, forwards are done and it would be spending cap for the sake of it, IMO.
