As mentioned afore , NRL have just signed a $1 billion dollar deal with Fox(SKY) etc and that is about 635 million pounds ! The Aussie players here are very excited to say the least and therefore the chance of getting ANY DECENT NRL player is really slight.

If I was AP I would be very wary of signing an Aussie from NRL unless of course it is Travis Burns

Not sure who they all are, its just reassuring to have an owner who genuinely wants to bring back the halcyon days of the late 70`s & early 80`s, roll on September and let the good times roll.

The 7 definately won't include Watts and Pitts. I'd be very surprised if it included Arundel. McGoldrick is a possibility, albeit not a very clever one - possibly one of the ongoing ones? I'd be very surprised if Crookes [iisn't[/i one of them.

The curiosity for me is what'll happen with Seymour if/when Holdsworth and Chase are confirmed. He's not going to be easy to shift. I'm all for depth, but even so.

Spoke to a lad from Cas last night who reckons he will probably go to Salford or Leigh as that's where he's from. Reckons he's quick and skillfull but didn't stand out in preseason friendlies.

I'm trying to set my expectations low so as not to be disappointed. Just getting Chase (with the already known players) would make us a vastly improved team, I really hope we sort his visa and if we can't he gets deported, if he can't work for us he shouldn't be able to work for Cas either!

I still see get Bateman either, if we had agreed a fee with Bradford then we can announce it. Why not drop that name in the season ticket brochure to get everyone's juices flowing ? Or an NRL name, start drip feeding them to work us up into a frenzy!

I think Bateman is one of the players that's not quite done but believe he has chosen to sign for us. I think AP wants maximum exposure hence announcing them all on one day.

I am intrigues as to how they will make the announcements, one big statement. Announce them one at a time. Should be interesting!
