sorry but for me theres only Berro. Not one other player warrants it. Berros the only class we have and the captaincy may give him renewed hope cos he looks a beaten player to me.

I wouldn't even play washbrook let alone give him captaincy. The kid hasn't progressed in 3 years. we need a Jason Smith loose forward.

Was brilliant last season out of position, in most coaches dream team last year! Washbrook plays in the halves and our winger goes in, in the corner with a great cut out pass! it is no coincidence. Danny knows how to play the game and has the skills to put it into practise. Outstanding choice for me! suppose you could give it to berro until he leaves then washy but why put it off?

I don't want to sound like I'm sticking up for a player clearly not in form, but apart from four, maybe five games this season he has been playing behind a beaten pack. I think you can afford two plodders max in the pack but we've even converted the number 13 position, just to fit another plodder in!

I agree on this, it's been a bug ear of mine for the last year or so.

That's down to our coaches attemt at playing the Aussie game of 3 props playing it tight, Radford has been no less effective in that role as Cusack and Dowes has, more so than King and Thackray. In the first five wins he was as solid in defence and gave a bit of punch, in the last 6 defeats he has maintained that whereas King, Thackray,Tickle and Manu have dropped off.
At LF he is doing a far better job at 'propping' than King and Thackray and Moa. IMO

They are not trying hard enough rather, and being overplayed

i will believe it when i see him named in the squad and back playing. not doubting you just we get told this then it never happens.

even when he is back 'fit' he will need a couple of games in the reserves, cos he only played one game on his comeback before Wembley...so really he hasn't played for about year.
