Look if they have paid over the odds for him, more fool them. They seem to liek paying over the odds for players we either have or have shown an interest in. It may seem like a good idea and it may give there board and fans a buzz, its not good business practice.

He has looked good towards the end of is season, but he had some right howlers in the U 21s and I could argue its a waste of a quota place on an unproved player.

Deary me we are talking about sam "tugboat" moa here not greg inglis! If he signs like has been said above he will be a useful addition but if he goes to dobbins then so be it. I can his point of view that he has been foooked around by the club playing 2nd fiddle to this other supposed ozzy signing but if he is wanting what they are willing to pay him (that will obviously be more than we are just to get another 1 over us) then let him go! Simples...

The club obviously have to decide what Sam is worth.

Equally they also need to consider the effects on the morale of the fans if he signs for the Dobbins.

If we are not getting this supposed Aussie outside back we must have some spare cash kicking around - we won't have offered Sam what he would have been offered.

If we can reasonably match any offer from Rovers then we should. I'm sure he would then choose us over them - unless they are offering him a much longer deal.

However if they are offering him silly money we will have to let him go.

Whereas the very foundations of Hull FC are based on losing our young, promising players and replacing them with old, crocked players with big reputations.
